wats the difference between no. 2 pencils nd 2HB pencils..........or r they the same.........

In the United States, we refer to them as #2 pencils. The rest of the world calls them "HB" pencils.

For example:

(US) to (World)
# 1 = B
# 2 = HB
# 3 = H
# 4 = 2H

There is no difference.

I doubt that there is much if any difference.

A #2 is pretty close to HB in hardness and the designation 2HB may even indicate that the manufacturer considers them to be the same

no clue.
but from what i have found i think the 2Hb pencil is made more for drawing.
not for sure though.
