Jesus satisfies my every want.
Material things are NOTHING----------

My spiritual want is Jesus Christ.
I desire to be like Him.
And tell of His Goodness.
THERE IS NO ONE LIKE HIM.

Sometimes I'm hungry and I really want a specific flavour. Sometimes I just don't know whether is savoury, sweet, meaty, cheesy etc. Fortunately this often happens when I'm with a good friend who is a chef, so he provides me with good ideas and suggestions until I can find my flavour. Otherwise no, I have never had a desire I did not know how to fulfill. I suppose my example is hunger, which everyone knows how to fulfill. Another example is sexual frustration which can be solved by finding a sexual partner.

In order to better answer your question you need to distinguish between the basic want-have from the finer points of it. Hungry, but eating what? Aroused, but sex with who, and how to attain them? It's impossible to have a desire without knowing what the desire is, and there are no desires that come without knoweldge of what will satisfy them. However actually being able to satisfy them can be more difficult.

Yep, I am currently in this funk where I can never tell if I'm in love, who it is, or even if I like the person... er, these persons... I find that maybe I'm a total attention addict, but I don't quite know how to fancy off this situation. Mind you, I've never had a problem like this before... I'm hoping it's a phase.

So, I have my boyfriend (of whom comes to my house everyday, and gives me plenty of attention ^-^). I do love him and sometimes I think I am in love. But, I'm still not sure. : /
Right now, I'm just letting myself be happy, because only time can tell what's in store, and if he's the one.

Best advice I can give you (or anyone on this subject) is pin point what your exact want is, and kick off all the distractions that may lead you to do something that you may regret or not even want in the end. And find the best, most harmless way you can satisfy that.

i had a desire to do a B&E, but then i realised it was just a desire to kick in a door....not to steal, but to break a wooden door with my foot...so i kicked in the closet door, too. it wasn't even locked, i just kicked it in.....
