watts = volts * amps.

220 * 4 = 880 watts

For DC, the answer is easy: Watts = Volts * Amps

For AC, you need to be sure that you use RMS voltage and that you accoount for power factor. Since a flatiron is purely resistive, power factor is 1.0. As long as 220 V represents your RMS voltage, then you can go ahead and multiply:
220*4 = 880 watts
