You don't HAVE to live a Christian life. It's called freedom of religion. You can believe in what you want or in nothing at all. However, Christians will still try to convert you; they believe it is their duty.

to paraphrase Pascal (French philosopher), if you believe and there's no God, you don't lose anything but if you don't believe and there is a God, you'll lose everything. So for his own sake, Pascal chose to believe there was a God.
But in my view, if you are a good, caring and loving person, doesn't matter if you call yourself a christian or not, what matters is who you are.

I guess if your life is not messed up as mine was then you dont need Jesus. My life was messed up with no one around to fix it. I found Jesus and he fixed me... I'm not perfect but thats how grace works. Jesus wanted me just like I was. but he took away all my addictions that no man could fix

its not our duty to convert u but christians care for people and the bible (whether u belive it or not) tells us that we should tell other people about god. He dieded for eveyone and I care for others and dont want them to spend eternity in hell, so i tell people of Jesus I dont preach to them and tell them they have to. I'm telling them something I know id want to be told.
