Now I know this question looks right at Jesus... And many people may say I'm bashing him, but I'm not. If the church tells me that Jesus, a single man with great powers and a wonderful mind, was sent to save mankind by his father, Mr. God. Now, his son was born into flesh, blood and bone and was meant to feel what humans feel - like, for example, a sex drive. He spent 33 years here on earth and never once gave in to the 'temptation of the flesh' (not really a sin to have sex, biologically speaking, its how we pass on genes) - but yet hung around with 12 guys and went everywhere with them. And even turned water into wine around them.

But my real questions concerns this - does God hate gay people? I know in Iran he does - since no gay people live there. Do muslims hate homosexuals as much as Christians do?

Oh - I mean Christians love gays but we won't let them get married-Jesus told us so when he was hanging out with those 12 guys and a girl which he never got with. Hmmm...

rac - thanks again ya Christian nut job. I bet God loves that you are telling people what he meant by sending Jesus to earth. All these FACTS you know about the bible are not facts. Read you history my man, read you theogical philosophy.... Oh wait, by the way you speak, start reading in a bit.... First, you have to get use to books (and not just burning them!)... May I suggest a colouring book?

I happen to believe Jesus was Mary Magdalene's husband companion, and back in those days companion meant wife or husband. It's in the bible, the Gospel of Philip mentions the relationship of Jesus and Mary Magdalene: the companion of the Savior is Mary Magdalene. But Christ loved her more than all the disciples and used to kiss her on the mouth. The disciples were offended by this and expressed disapproval. They said to him "why do you love her more than us?" the Savior answered " why do I not love you like her? when a blind man and one who sees are both together in darkness, they are no different from one another. When the light comes then he who sees will see the light, and he who is blind will remain in darkness. This is from the Jesus Papers, and the bible. So take it for what it's worth and study it a little more, I believe Jesus existed I just happen to believe he was a man of history not a man of Divinity. I don't know if gays is an issue with God, I am sure if he is almighty and loving God, he accepts all his children regardless of their sexual desires, that is if God exists.

First, God loves all of His children, meaning all the people on earth, past, present and future.
Second, He made rules for His children to live by including no sex except with your husband or wife to whom you are properly wedded.
Third, Jesus was married. He could not be considered a teacher, or Rabbi, in Jewish society without marriage.
Fourth, his apostles were around Him so that they could learn what they needed to learn to continue His work after He was gone. Many of them, if not all were also married. The New Testament speaks of Peter's mother-in-law. Paul admits to being single and remaining that way.
Finally, the hatred or bigotry that society exibits today comes from human weakness and Satanic influence, not Christian love for our neighbors.

It's not fair to say that God has sanctioned gay marriages, meaning regardless of whatever religions. In the final analysis, it all depended on man's actions, out of their respective cultures whether progressive or not, never mind if it violated God's laws. So it's not God who decides, it is man when it comes to gay's.
