Samantha Stickers or whatever is wrong the Iraqi government has repeatedly asked for MORE US INVOLVEMENT not less.

The Iraqi government has not asked the US to leave.

The US threatens to leave or pull out to get the Iraqi government to actually get things done to mend relations between the Shia, Kurds, and Sunni.

If the Iraqi government blatantly asked the US to withdraw all forces then it would happen plain and simple.

That wouldn’t happen though they want us there its just some people don’t like that fact because it doesn’t fit their political agenda.

If they did, that'd make things much easier. None of that worrying about looking as if you've lost a war, no need to find a solution to this big mess, as you can then blame any future collapses on the Iraqi government.

Of course, that's probably not going to happen any time soon. They need and want the US to stick around for the time being.

If asked or ordered to leave our troops would be withdrawn. Then the people in Canada and the U.S. can gather for donuts at a Tim Horton shop and watch the TV reports of the Iraqi leadership suffering the death of fools.

We would leave,
they would dance in the streets burning US Flags
The heads of state would all get murdered along with everyone who smelled like they helped Americans
After the cleansing of American smell, a dictator would take over and we'd be right back to where we were in august 2001.

"What happens if the Iraqis ask or order the American troops out?"

We (USA) are not that lucky. It would be an easy out for the administration and would ease our pain. One can only hope they ask us to leave. The sooner the better like two years ago.

Who is going to do the asking? They don't have a functioning government.

They wouldn't ask for us to leave. They need all the help they can get. Bush would certainly bring troops home if asked.
