More tunes for the rest of us, then.
And if rock music really is from Satan, I would now like to publicly thank him.

Are you bored or something? this is so ridiculous, I have been around for almost 40 years, and if someone put this in your head, of course your gonna hear whatever you want when you play things backwards, you think these rock bands spent all that time to find the right words to sing so they would say something satanic backwards, listen to something else backwards and tell us what it says, John Denver or something like that. I think you need to go get born again! If I go to hell I will send you a postcard.

Christians of all people have true freedom. Martin Luther said, the Christian is free from all, obliged to honor no earthly power, yet slave to all, obliged to love all men. As Jesus said, it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles, but what comes out of the heart. Music does not sanctify us, and it cannot condemn us. The beliefs of the heart are what is important to God. The question is, how does the lyrical content of the music affect what we are believing about God and about ourselves? Popular music is loaded with messages. This is no accident. That the Devil seeks to control minds through the onslaught of popular media is hardly something a wise person would deny. Contemporary Christian music is artistically vapid, generally, but the messages are certainly different. Sometimes, even Christian music, is loaded with carnally minded lyrics that are contrary to real faith. But one has to be up on the Bible to really see this. Sometimes I think about the many rockstars who have died young, and when certain songs come on the radio, it's chilling. A couple of examples: "I'm on the highway to hell..." ---Bonn Scott, dead of alcohol poisoning not long after this song came out "married, buried, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah..." --Kurt Cobain, in fact, married, and then shortly thereafter, buried. Yours in Christ, Nick

Well, by your reasoning, I think you would ave to say that the music of many similiar genres is also of Satan. Country music, blues, disco, and rap have a lot in common with Rock both lyrically and musically.
But I think it goes too far to say all Rock and Roll is of Satan.
I do, however, believe that so much of our popular culture is evil.
Any culture that worships the human form so much just can't be Holy. Look at music videos on MTV?

Satanic messages? Where? What songs?
Have some facts to base your opinions on.
I am a rock-lovin' Christian.
*EDIT - I suppose the next thing you'll say is that dancing too is from Satan. Do you really think that God is concerned with such nonsense?

Thank Lucifer for music to rock to.
If Lucifer is responsible for Led Zepplin, Wolf Mother, Ween, the Beatles etc... and God is responsible for the creation of an everlasting hell where Lucifer and your friends family and neighbors will be tortured for eternity, I have a hard time understanding why you are so mad at Lucifer and so willing to praise the lord?

there are christian rock bands and I don't think its satanic. I mean if the song is about praising satan thats different. having music adds beauty to a song. I think Jesus would agree.

You're the kind of foaming-at-the-mouth fanatic who gives Christians a bad name. Abstain from rock music if you wish. In fact, shave your head and go live in a cave if that's your trip, but quit trying to make the rest of the world feel guilty everytime they enjoy something.
God made Ozzy too, you know.
