I am a 151cm, 54kg teenager who needs some advice and help on losing weight. I don't believe in crash diets and all. The main problem is I just want to GROW TALLER. According to some people, girls stop growing at 18. And i'm 14! 4 more years to go before I'm stunted for life. =S Ok, maybe i'm being over dramatic. But, help me please! Thanks =)

Please recommend some exercises. Thanks again =D

try yoga to stretch your muscles and a healthy diet. Lots of water, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Overall don't stress yourself you're young live your life and love yourself.

You might grow taller, you might not...but everyone is different and I am sure you are beautiful the way you are. As far as losing weight, just watch your diet and try to make sure you are eating MOSTLY healthy foods, and smaller portions of the "bad" foods. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day and try to do 30 minutes of some form of cardio (walking, aerobics, walking, etc.) four days a week. If you can, do light weight training on the days in between. Pilates is good for toning your body...so that would be my suggestion for off days. You can't really target one specific area on your body (they say), so if you do all of this you are sure to see some good results. Good luck. : )

I hate the media for telling us that we are suppose to look a certain way!

You body type is what it is and there is no way of changing it.

If you are only 14 there is a good chance that you will grow taller.

Look at women who are living a happy life that don't have a tall lean body.

You have so much ahead of you. Find something in life that makes you happy and put your whole self into it.

My passion is my horses. Find something that makes you feel good about yourself.

I promise you, you will find someone who will love you for who you are. If this were not true, then only the tall thin people in this life would ever find happiness.....and that is just not true.

Well, you usually stop growing after you've had your period and what-not. The BEST way to lose weight is PROPORTIONS. Don't starve yourself, just eat healthier and ONLY eat when your hungry. And have smaller proportions, this actually makes your stomach shrink. And exercise alot, simple things like going for a walk after school is a good thing to do instead of crashing on the couch and watching tv.

I have seen that build a lot. I know of any diet or excersise to stop that. Just be happy with who you are. Most real men like it.
