Any good websites for a beginner who is left handed? I would love to learn guitar but it's a pain in the butt always having to do things the opposite way. I will do it if I have to but would prefer not to. Any websites, advice, etc...?

i dont know of any web sites but my son plays left handed bass. he just basically learned the chords and then figured out how to put them together . he strums with his left hand.my oldest brother strung his guitar backwards.and strummed with his left. i can't really play a lot but i can plunk out a tune and i'm left handed and i chord with my right hand.,strum with my left.i have 2 more left handed brothers and another son who is left handed and they all play right handed. so i don't think it is really important which hand you use to strum with if you know the chords. you will learn to play whichever way is comfortable for you.

It's been awhile since I started to play. I simply restrung a right-handed guitar upside down, and hold it with the neck to my right. It's not ideal, but it works, at least to learn a bit.

The best solution would be to find a left-handed guitar.

Edit: I found a reference to this book last night - it might help.
