I guess depent on what you looking for, money, good life style, etc. I would said Europe since people there are work/life balance, their life style are much more relax than people in US. There are many place to go and easy the get around, you probably would never get bored live there. I don't know which country in Europe is better, though. I only lived in Italy for half year, and I like there. I like Asia too, Japan, Hong Kong, etc, the food is the best and there are so many thing to do; however, people there work like crazy, life can get very stressful.

It depends on what is important to you.

For some people, freedom is not measured by the right to speak out, but rather not living in fear.

For some a better life does not mean a big box home, but rather a decent job and food on the table.

For some peace may not mean a country without war, but rather fear from having someone knock at your door in the middle of the night.

I could go on and on, but I think you get my point.

Signed, an ex pat from the USA (who votes absentee) and lives in the Peoples Republic of China where I no longer live in fear. I can actually walk out of my home at 2am and go to the store without fear of being mugged.

Peace

Jim
