It now takes 2 people to report someone for them to be violated. I've noticed that at different times of the day there are more Christians, Muslims, Jews, atheists, etc. than at other times.
Do you, (if the shoe fits here, wear it) feel that by reporting someone who speaks against your religion or your prophet, that you are defending the faith in your own small way?
If you knew who I was and could get away with it, would you arrest me, beat me, or even kill me?
That, my friend, does not make me respect you or your religion any more or your prophet.
Does anyone agree that some religious groups realize that if at least 2 of them report you you will get a violation notice and your question or answer deleted?
Should we all make this known to Yahoo?

I think everyone should join me in suggesting to Yahoo that they give a little slack in the "religion"and the "politics" section. These are not yes/no,black/white answers. They are heated topics, and should be given more leeway

I only report a question when its highly offensive and rude,

Maybe you are right about the time difference and that there are more people from certain faiths at certain times, for example im in Egypt now its 3:05 here and my day is like nearly over while you are still starting it, but i don't think this has got nothing to do with the violations,

I am a Muslim and I will report a rude question even if t has nothing to do with my faith

Definitely. Violations are suddenly appearing again after a brief absence. Apparently it only takes two to decide that someones posts are ALL violations and Yahoo seems oblivious to that.

I noticed the violations started rolling in again yesterday. Yahoo is playing around with their system once again. IMHO, the reporting feature is so bad, they should just get rid of it altogether.

We should.

I wish Yahoo! was a little more diligent about allowing people to report a question simply because it doesn't agree with their opinions. That isn't playing nice.

But they (Yahoo) don't seem that involved. If 2 or more people report a question, it gets removed, no questions asked.

the lack of ability of an defined question is the reason in itself. This person is going to make you think of "i won't have faith this" as an atheist would do and is proving area of a few form.

I've had lots of violations for perfectly reasonable answers to Christian questions. so much for Christians turning the other cheek eh?

So yes, I do agree with you!

I wouldnt think anyone would change their opinion because of a violation notice when their mind is already made up.
