Can anybody recommend some safe sites? I know there are a lot of scams out there... even the ones that sound good. It would be especially helpful if you could recommend me to something you have tried out yourself and found successful. I am aware of many of the sites, it's just a matter of knowing which are true and which aren't. I'm looking for something that doesn't require any degrees or a lot of my time....kind of a work on my free hours sort of thing. I have a newborn on the way so I don't want to be tied up too badly...

Hi, the answer to this question is www.workathomeagent.com. I did work for this company and it is simple and fun! Here is what you do...you go to the site, let them know you are interested in answering calls for companies from your home. You have to have a computer, telephone line, and you have to download their desktop application on your computer so that you can log into the site and then the application allows you to take calls and they are all tracked on the site and stuff. There are several companies including Home Depot, JCPenneys, Home Shopping Network, QVC, and more. You basically serve as a customer service representative or you take orders onto your desktop for places like QVC of what people are calling into order. Its free, there is no charge to sign-up------and you make all of your own schedules of when you will be logging in to take calls. You get paid for how long you are actually on the phone with customers. Just because you say you are available from 4pm to 4am to take calls, does not mean that you will spend 12 hours on the phone. Sometimes there are a few minutes between calls and sometimes there are periods where you have a little time before someone starts calling again. But the money seemed fair and good and if I ever quit my fulltime job, I will definately go back to it! I never had to be dressed or looking good and I could log on and be ready to work! No commute or problems or bosses! Of course the agents from workathomeagents are always there if you need any help or anything like that. They also make you take a tutouring program on the desktop application to make sure you understand how it all works and then they give you a small online test. I sell the body shop a home, it's a great opportunity, but does require some work. I would say about average would be 3 hours per party. Each party is 1 1/2 hours, plus the prep time. If you think you have time for that, visit my website for more info. I started this when my daughter was 7 months, I wanted to start earlier, but was afraid I wouldn't have enough time. I am just trying to help some fellow mommies or daddies who want to earn a few extra bucks.
I have a website that you can earn money by doing surveys. I have been doing it for about a year and have earned $40 bucks and have tried a few different items they sent me to try. It's a lot of fun. It doesn't seem like a lot, but all I did was do a few surveys and redeemed my points. This website is great. They never ask for credit cards or any personal info except your address to send you items to try. It is awesome and fun.
To make myself clear I'm trying to get referral points which eventually will turn into cash.
This website doesn't send junk mail. It sends a monthly "what's going on" and maybe2-3 times a month you get an email inviting you to do a survey. All of the surveys are through the website and you never have to give credit card info or anything sensitive.

Tutor.com is hiring! I just got hired and I am going to love it from what I have already experienced going through the interview process. The website is http://www.tutor.com. You first test in a subject that you have some knowledge in and if you pass your test you will go from there. You have to test and pass in a subject that has an "*" next to it because those are the subjects that they are hiring tutors for. You also have to go through a background check because you are dealing with and sign an independent contractor agreement. They start everyone out at $8 for in-session tutoring, then you earn $5.50 for every hour that you ar waiting in the queue to tutor someone, and then $.50 per minute for every session that goes over 20 minutes. You progress in tutor level-thus in more pay-based upon requirements for each level. Some tutors make $15 an hour along with incentives and such.I just got my schedule cap for this week and I can schedule up to 30 hours. Even just waiting in the queue and not tutoring at all is $660 a month, at the least for me. Try it out. You get certified and everything and you pay out of pocket for nothing!

I dont know either. All the ones I have found you have to send money to first. That just screams scam ! Have you tired ebay. It's not a full time thing but I sell some stuff on there and make a little extra money. Are you crafty? Know how to sew? Carseat covers, baby slings, and nursing covers all sell well.

I work as an on-call supervisor for a nursing company. I work nights and weekends from home. I use my computer and can also print out the info I need so if I do have to run out I can. I am in NJ and work with Bayada Nurses, I know we have locations all over the US. If you go to their website they do have a job bank.

I don't think what you're looking for exists. One of my friends tried to get a job like you're describing, and the job was with a reputable company. However, the company required you to work for them for at least two years on site to prove yourself reliable and trustworthy before they allowed you to work from home. So think about it. If you were a business owner, would you pay someone you had never met to handle responsibilities for your company?
