I believe the intent of Jeans for Genes day is that you are also supposed to make a monetary contribution to cancer research.

Wearing jeans to support breast cancer?? That sounds like someone's lame idea to get to wear jeans at work.
If you want to do something useful, why don't you make a donation to the cancer society instead of just wearing jeans!!

this friday is jeans for genes day not for breast cancer although the month of october is supporting breast cancer.
