That is the key word...PEOPLE!!.
The bible says nothing of interracial marriages. It states not to marry out of your beliefs. In fear of them leading you from God.
If your are a Christian you wouldn't want to marry an Atheist because it would be hard on your marriage.
You are allowed to marry anyone you want except the same sex. That is an abomination to God and what he created. God Bless

In my religion we believe that there is only one race; the human race, there may be different cultures, nationalities and skin tones however we are all human; two eyes, one mouth, one nose, two legs, two arms etc. Therefore I see it as wrong to discourage marriage on the grounds of skin colour or differing nationality. As long as the two people are committed two one another there is no problem. I would only disagree if the two people clearly had dissimilar values which may cause conflict, especially if the were two different religions. However, people are resourceful and are able to overcome most obstacles. So in most cases it is just a matter of give and take.

Whatever the two people decided is what God wanted, so if you or someone else wants to marry someone of a different race then that is what is meant to happen, there is absolutely no rules or laws about it anywhere. My parents were very different, my father Spanish and my mother British, they got married in 1960, had 4 kids one was extra special (me)LOL.
But honestly it's not a rule by any means, it's just socially not accepted by some people, but who cares what they think right! as long as they are happy.

there are several references in the old testament telling them not to marry outside there "people" but in the new testament it says not to be unequally yoked.. meaning don't marry outside your faith... You both should have the same fundamental beliefs and strive for the same spiritual goals. At least that is what I think it means.
