Beastiality entails SEX with animals, not merely kissing them! In OT Scripture, yes, you would've been executed.

They are a living thing with a soul. God gave us the power to domesticate them as pets and as companions when we feel alone. By companion, I do not mean "partner" but I mean friend. He said "Do unto others as you have them do onto you..." Others does not state human or animal or thing. If you want to breath, you don't beat a tree. Within time the tree will die from the harshness you've created onto it. In a way, the tree was put there to create food, possible shelter i.e. weeping willows, shade, and oxygen. You should respect it and love it because God created it for you. If you kiss your animal, you are showing it love and appreciation.. I mean I wouldn't go as far as using tongue. But think of it like this, you like to be told and shown you are loved and respected... Animals often lick each other to do this. If you want to show your pet you love them, why not kiss them. They will take it the same as if you were licking them. It shows you are safe and you have their back. Just as if they would have yours. I know people will argue a cat can't have someone's back, but.. they can. They will attack another animal no matter how big if they think you are in danger. You would do this for another human wouldn't you? I feel as long as you aren't being romantic or sexual with the animal that concludes as NON beastiality.

Bestiality is the act of having sex with an animal, or having some sexual gratification with the animal. This is forbidden in the Bible by God's decree. God put animals on the earth to be loved by us and they make us happy and stress free. So go ahead and kiss and pet and fondle your pet. I have two cats whom I do this with every day because I love them and appreciate our creators design in creating them for mankind. In the Bible times you would have died for that act, but Christ disavowed that old law by establishing the new covenant for mankind. Simply, love your neighbor as yourself and do unto others as you would have them do onto you.

In those times by peoples fear and lack of medical knowledge they'd stoned a lot of people to death, calling illness "Sins". Rather than passing on there "Sin", (viral illness) with having no guns back then they would throw stones and rocks at infected people to stop them ever coming near them passing to spread hepatitis, S.T.D's or leprosy or flu among the general population. This is where the saying anyone without "Sin" (viral illness) cast the first stone. (Not like in the movies) This person was feared as a disease not because they were bad people, they were sick and could spread "Sin" (viral illness) onto everyone. In our time we have medications and cures for these illness's if we didn't we still would have people isolated leper colony's or dispose a person who could infect our population. Animals do carry many diseases that can infect or kill humans. The affection you have with both your pets is healthy and they love you as there owner better than you treating them cruelly treating them by kicking or starving them as a lot of selfish unloving animal hating person would.

What you are doing is certainly not beastiality and as far as I am aware this never has been so. I often give my Alsation a hug and a kiss on his forehead. Nothing wrong with it. Beastiality, if you look it up in the dictionary, is a quite unnatural relationship between a human and an animal of another species.

Should I ask...DARE I ask...where, exactly, are you kissing your Kitty or Doggie?
(Please say "at the back door, when he greets me after work", or something equally innocuous!!)
How can you expect serious answers to such a silly question?
Bestiality would involve actually having sexual contact with the animal.
When I kiss my son, does that mean I have committed incest?
When I kiss my dad?
What about if I kiss my grand daughter?
Now, if you are slipping Fluffy or Fido the tongue...

If you want serious answers then ask a serious question.
I doubt kissing your pet warrants a charge of bestiality.

It's not considered bestiality, nor is it punishable by death unless you've had intercourse with your cat. You haven't have you?

The Bible says that you will not have sexual relations with an animal. If I kiss my mother, that's not sexual either. You are not commiting a crime until you start wanting to have some sort of sexual relationship. Then that's between you and God. Things changed with Jesus, so if this is a problem: PLEASE pray about it.
