I'm trying to lose the last 15 pounds to try and get me to my goal weight. I'm 5'6, and currently weigh 125...my goal is 110. I workout, usually walking...several hills are involved...and like I said before, I try to keep my calorie intake at about 1000 per day. Can anyone give any advice....I want to be healthy...I usually have a slimfast 3 x a day, and fill the rest of my calories with fruits and veggies. This last 15 lbs. is driving me crazy...I would love any advice or tips! thank u so much!

Eating a 1000 calories a day is not healthy. At your weight you should be consuming around 1250 calories a day, but, none from slim fast. Have you ever looked at the sugar content in that drink? You are better off having a Coke!!
Also, there is no real protein in your diet.. Protein is the hardest substance for your body to digest and is needed for many different functions such as building muscle which is essential because it helps you burn more calories while at rest. Instead of Slim Fast, try Met-Rx RTD 51 as a meal replacement, it has 51 grams of protein per serving and most other vitamins etc needed.
You should be taking in about 125 grams of protein per day and skip the fruit, fructose is making it difficult for you to balance your insulin levels and that is why you find it hard to lose the weight. Ok, 125 grams of protein a day, no slim fast, try another, serious mean replacement drink instead, work out with weights to add muscle tone to your body and do the cardio you are doing now, just not too much of it. Finally, and if you only remember one thing out of all this, stay away from sugar like it's your ex..... Without control of your insulin you will have a very hard time losing the last 15 pounds. Good luck!!

Maybe 125 pounds is your body's idea weight. Could be why have so much trouble losing the 15 pounds.
Slim fast 3 times a day. Well first thing that popped in my mind was only if you were trying to comment suicide by starving yourself to death.
You need at least 2,000 per day to be healthy.
We didn't even go that low when we put Brig Rats on bread and water. The lowest was 1500 a day.

You need to start taking in more protein otherwise your body is not going to be able to replace the body fat with muscle tissue.

Yes there is major harm in eating this way and it is also extremely counterproductive to results. Basically you will never get the " look " you desire by going about it in this fashion. What you are doing by ingesting so few calories is lowering your metabolic rate and your body is losing its ability to become a fat burning machine that it was designed to be.

Now let me ask you a question . Why are you so interested in being 110 lbs? Do not get hung up on what the scale says. Your results should be how you look in the mirror. That will only be acheived by undergoing a body transformation. This tranformation will occur if you workout correctly, eat right and supplement correctly.

For a lot of information in this are go to www.myotrend.com. Start by using their Leucimine product. It will help in targeted weight loss and building your calorie depleted body back up.

Life is to be enjoyed. Not staring at scales.

First of all, at your height, a weight of 110 would be considered underweight. 115 would put you at the low end of normal.

Second...You maybe having problems losing more weight because you are not eating enough. Try eating around 1200 calories a day. Your body maybe in starvation mode.

I hear that zig zagging works well also. This would be varying your daily calories amounts. Like one day..1200, one day 1500, one day 1100...etc.

But please try to be healthy when losing weight.

First off this goal weight is very unhealthy If your 5'6" 125 should look pretty skinny on you. I think you should tone up more and eat more solid foods, especially protein like tofu and beans. You should worrie about your BMI too.
