You will not find that in the bible anywhere. Free will allows for us to make choices that at one part in our life we choose certain decisions and it will lead us down one path while other choices will lead us down still yet another. It is not pre written how and when we will die. Search the bible and you find that no where.

There may be a religion somewhere that teaches that and I know some Christians believe this but it is a belief that is foreign to scripture.

Even in most pagan religions we always have free will. It is all about the choices we make. We can make certain choices that will lead to one destiny but we can always change directions and that will lead to a completely different destiny. Nothing is pre set.

It can only be decided looking back, because there are too many details to consider to predict the future.

But yes, if a person in the past has commited suicide, then it was a direct result of the surrounding circumstances including the mental state of the person.

If the world could be made the same as it was yesterday, to the finest detail including everything, even spirits, then there would be no reason for the day's events to be even slightly different.

Every event is based on something else. Even rolling a dice.

NO! we do have free will to a certain extent but your life script will be realized and when you commit suicide you have not completed the life you scripted for yourself therefore you will come straight back into this world to complete your life plan. This will delay your re-entrance to the other side just as failing in school will delay your graduation. As far as going to hell, this is a myth created by the early churches as a scare tactic. Our all loving God that loves you more than you can ever know love will never torture you for eternity just as you will never torture your own loving children.

suicide is a very sad thing. my mom did it 20 years ago. I believe in a life plan, but that part I think was a glitch. It is a very confusing decision that I think signals some kind of mental health problem. not quite sure of the answer to your question. I am still not sure why or if it could have been prevented.

You have brought up one of the reasons I do not believe the script is already written. My Steve committed suicide on December 16, 2005. Twice before he died, once about a week before, and once about 12 hours before, he said the exact same sentence: "I have always believed I was destined to destroy myself."

Imagine what hearing that does to a wife who loves you.

You do indeed have free will. It was hard to face, but Steve made that choice to call his life a waste and get out that gun and . . . well, I'm not going to write any more details.

i do not agree that a person's life plan is pre-written. life plan depends on a person's habits, associations, events and places occuring in his life. all these are uncertain but not pre-written. but if it is assumed tthat a person's life plan is pre-written, suicide is also pre-written.

If it is pre-written, then all is part of the plan.

No I don't think suicide is ever part of the plan.

I believe that this person will just have to come back into similiar circmstances or life.

If you believe that every person has a completely determined life before they live it, then yes of course. People who commit suicide will have had to kill themselves because the entire point of determinism is that there is no escape from your 'destiny'.

Of course most people don't believe in determinism or fatalism.
