He also installed a mirror in the bathroom and left a mess. He hasn't cleaned ANY of it up.

mmmmm, I think I would just suck it up and start cleaning. He is the landlord and after all he did fix and repair what you needed. Quite a few landlords don't even do that much. Not much fun for you but you don't want to have any problems with him.

Division of labor. He fixes you clean up the mess. Pretty common in apartment living.

Just clean it up and don't say anything. It's not worth it to have an angry landlord.

Allot of land lords think their doing you a favor by up-keeping their on property,If I were you, I would just clean up the mess and send him/her a thank you note......have you ever heard of( kill'em with kindness) this will probably get under his/her skin, knowing he/she left the mess to annoy you......9 times out of 10 if you let someone no their annoying you they will keep doing it..

Call same labor and get clean the primises and deduct the labour expenses from their monthly rent.
