postal strike ?

i know theres a postal strike in the uk today but is it just the people who deliver parcels and letters ? or everyone ?as i have parcels to post nd im not sure if the post offices are open this afternoon or not and i dont want to carry heavy parcels on and off the bus and pay bus fair for no reason lol please help :)

that is awful. hate when they do that. here in the USA if there is a strike it affects every aspect of the postal service.
