I have decided to forgo the wiring harness because this install is for a friend and he's chep. I am having trouble though, which color wires are the positive, which are the negative, Which is ignition, I can figure out the speakers but I need help with these.

You are going to have to get a Haynes manual for that year and model to get the wiring diagram needed.
Normally the black wire is the negative and the red is the positive, but Ford using some screw ball colors especially under the dash.
I fought that out the hard way when installing a stereo system on a F 150.

Use test light to figure it out.
