I would cook it for a bit longer. Down to personal preference but I like them thoroughly cooked.

I eat raw potato sometimes when I'm cooking, it's not bad for you at all, quite the opposite. A jacket potato that's still a bit hard in the middle won't do any harm at all.

It takes an prolonged time to bake potatoes. 4 hundred levels is a sturdy temp yet while u shop commencing the oven, you're letting each and every of the warmth out. enable them to cook dinner for an hour formerly you even examine them. The time that the potato chefs actual relies upon on the size and the temp. The olive oil, salt, pepper and foil is an extremely stable concept. supply them some greater time. in the event that they're stiff, then they in all probability desire yet another 30 - 40 5 minutes as a results of loss of heat. wish it works out for you...

I tend to soften the baked potato in a microwave but put it in foil and in the oven after - they'll be crispy outside and perfectly soft inside ...and now you got me hungry!
Defo not bad for you - we used to eat raw potatos when we were kids. Its a vegetable, you can eat most vegetables raw (actually cannot think of one that is not edible raw)

Baked potatoes taste better when soft. If you so wished, you could eat potatoes like apples. If you like them soft, then put them back under.

I just rewrap them in the kitchen towel, and pop them back in the microwave for another minute or so - not too long, or they go as hard as a brick!
