well there have been many expert out there that have
determined that an ivasion of Japan , the only other
aternitive would have cost many more lives.This includes
the miltary on both sides and civillian.Becuse Japan
were very strong willed an ivasion would of taken

process.The allies would have prob had to obvliate
most if not all of Japan.I think alot of American are not

of innocent civillian.They use IED and sucude bombing

No, proud is not the right word.

In regards to the atomic bomb, the government feels justified having been attacked by Japan to open the war.

Same thing with the war on terror.

We have no desire to be in either Iraq or Afghanistan. We would leave tomorrow if the peoples of those two nations: Formed their own functional government, Quit shooting at us and allowing insurgents to use their country to shoot at us, and proved that they are capable of protecting their population from regional threats.

Stand up and take charge of your own country and we will gladly leave. Keep shooting and attacking us and we are obligated to "neutralize" the threat which means that innocent people may be hurt in the exchange.

Read up on your history of WW II and Japanese war crimes, the Bataan Death march, the rape of Nanjing Etc The Japanese were no Angels, They were fighting to the death on every island we won, the survivors would commit suicide instead of surrendering, We would have loss Thousands of troops taking the Japanese main land.
Also The US had to demonstrate to Russia the power of the weapon we had.
No, I do not feel it was wrong to drop the A-bomb on Japan, It was a necessary evil then.

Yes, I for one am proud of the decision to drop the BOMB on Hiroshma and Nagasaki...it saved the lives of millions. Nice rant. I've been to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Japanese people in both cities have come up to me to thank me for the actions we took in ending the Pacific War. They knew, if the Americans had carried out "Operation Olympic" and landed in Kyushu that most of the Japanese nation would have perished in the Japanese government's insistence of fighting to the last man, woman and child. One only has to look at Saipan, Iwo Jima and Okinawa to realize that Japanese didn't surrender, when fighting on their own soil.
Personally I would rather see the U.S. not get involved in trying to put down the threat of the Salafist Jihadists. I'd really like us to back off, let the Jihadists attack all of the regimes in the Jahili world they say has defamed and degraded the world of Islam and let the people in those countries stew in their own juices when they come to realize the Jihadists believe in the doctrine of "Takfir" and will kill Muslims as well in the carrying out of Jihad.
