Somebody is trying to offend me by mentioning pork. Don't sweat it guys, I've tried it. Both pig and boar. Pig is too fatty, boar was just fine. Heh heh.

I would usually go to Izmir and Canakkale to visit the older members of my family. But this time, I will get some relatives as guests for the bayram. So I am old, too (43). :)
(This may not be the direct answer but I have to complete my personal bayram picture.)
There is one week to the 1st day of the "seker bayramı", and I have already started to collect small amounts of money ( one- lira coins, 50 kurus-coins for the little boys and girls who will come to my door. I will also buy the sweetest candies for them and for the friends' kids coming over) On the bayram eve, I will buy a tray of dessert and a few kilos of borek (pastry) for the couples visiting my apartment.
If it was a summer or winter vacation, I would go out of town to the attractive parts of Turkey. Since it is a religious event, I choose to be with relatives and folks.

Blunt, everyday is bayram for me:-) if you know what i mean:-)))
There is no holiday for Ramadan Bayram where i live:) Maybe my family will come to visit me.
PS: I don't understand why some people are trying to use an animal to make jokes. But remember they were also making jokes with people's choices, too. "Civilization"??

Other than being on a plane in the early hours of Bayram, I will be unpacking and trying to settle at home back in Kuwait.
