I like to believe that I would become filled with the power of one of God's angels. I would go directly to the awesome power of God for my success in saving both.
Now one for you...You and 29 people are stranded on a desolate island and everyone has a deathly virus. You have only enough medicine to cure 15 people totally, or enough meds for all 30 of you to take knowing that you you either save 15 or take your chances knowing that ultimately all of you will die.
You are the one to decide what choice of the two you will take
Which do you take?
And if you choose the whole cure for the 15, how would you pick who gets the cure and who doesn't

Aww, how unhappy! i'd save my mom first, for specific. i could not think of saving my boyfriend while a 300 and sixty 5 days later he dumps me and that i've got not got a mom anymore. =[ i'd attempt to maintain the two, if i could, however.

From a cruel biological point of view, you should save your partner, thus maximising the chances of furthering the species.
If you are given no choice and they are in immediate danger, it is your duty to act. Not acting would be a choice in itself, the most disastrous one.
Consider that one of the casualties of the accident will also be yourself, who will carry the remorse of not having been able to save both.
