I have this recurring dream that a childhood friend of mine (who is living in the US for 12 yrs now and who used to be my former crush) has finally arrived/ visited the country. In the dream, I always arrive in a party or gathering where he will be there but he won't talk to me or ignore me.
We chatted a year ago after 12 years of no communication but all of a sudden he stopped talking to me. We don't have any communication right now because he even ignores my email messages. Now, I'm having this dreams about him and I don't know why. I want to know the meaning of that dream... can u please help me interpret this dream?

and why is it that i don't even dream about my ex. i'm still hurting about my ex but i don't dream about him. why is this guy, my childhood friend and classmate existed in my dreams?

Remember our subconscious minds don't take dream items literally all the time. In your case,
childhood friend = once desire, close relationship you are looking for.
being ignored = low self esteem
You may be seeing this "guy" arrived the country. However, this only symbolizes what you have been wishing for. You are simply looking for close relationship, people to understand you. Projecting him finally being in the country shows deep down and subconsciously you want to accomplish things that are not possible.
However, not being communicated with him or being ignored shows emotionally you are feeling conflict. In other words, there are something hidden in your mind that you feel not right. In other words, you may be having some sort of self esteem issue. You may be low in confidence. This is coming from you subconscious mind. It may seem that you were shy, but in fact that hints that you are feeling left out and lack of support in reality.
Having recurring dream about him because there is something you have not completed. It could be about something you want to say to him but you didn't get the change. Therefore, those dreams keep coming and haunting you because in your subconscious mind, it is not complete.
So, being ignored may be the reason you have this dream. This dream may also reflect that you are the type of person who wants to be respected, and recognized. If things that fail you, you may feel bad and subconsciously you cannot let it go and that is why you have this kind of dream.

you might be wishing for him so much you cause yourself to dream of seeing him. l had the same type of dream about a girl l have not seen in 10 years. that was 2 years ago l wrote her a letter nothing happened. then about a month later l met someone who was alot like her in many ways and everything the happened in my dream will the girl l new 12 years earlier happened the same way in reality. but still l keep having these dreams of seeing my first Love.some how deep inside l think l believe l will see her soon.
