Why r Muslims so serious in religion maters?

Question

wen al da religion tels da same thing...
"do gud & b gud"
They also get angry alot wen a non muslim or a muslim ask questions lik this. always r to fight, they mak al the small things a big issue.

Please no rude answers muslim brothers & sisters, i dont want to hurt anyone, i just feel uncomofrtable with these kind of things.

So i just wana kno y r they like this, wat makes em b lik that...
If u feel im wrong pls help with ur advices if im corect give me the reason y r they lik that.

I do agree with you, when people dont have Answer for the Question we ask then they get angry, but not all Muslims are like that.

Arabs, they respect thier religion allot & follow strict rules, they always keep on thinking about their religion, their races, their nationality etc... they are the ones who spoil the name of this wonderfull & peacefull religion called Islam, by trying to be a good example to others, and maybe thats why you feel that Muslims are Serious. lol

But again not all Muslims or Arabs are the same.

The way you live is the way how you were brought up.

Im a Muslim, but thank god im not like them... Cus i dont live in those countries...
I do repsect every religion, & my religion especially...
But i dont follow everything what my religion says, somethings which are told in my religion aren't good i feel, so i do what i feel is good & live happily to the maximum until im alive on this wonderfull earth without hurting anyone.

As you told every religion says one thing "To be good & to do good" so i just follow that path too.

well with the topic of the question my answer is .... because religion is to be taken seriously. it doesn't matter whether its Islam, Christianity or any other religion. But I totally don't agree with you on the content of your question. I'm a muslim and I don't make big issues of everything. i think the place where you live and the people who're around you play a big role in how one will behave with you. Why don't other religion people accept that a muslim is following his religion and let him do so peacefully. Why do so many people go against muslims. I don't say that everyone is good and of course many things some muslims are doing on the name of religion is not right too but that does not mean every muslim is like that.... There are people like that in all religions aren't there..... Its just that they're not portrayed bad as a whole community and are just thought of individuals being bad then why does a few bad muslims ruin the whole community... This is why I say that the enviroment and surroundings around make a person more prone to be sensitive. I'm not in such a environment and muslims here are not as you have described. You have to be a good person to deal with goodness of someone else. Try being nice to a decent muslim and then see the difference.

While I had much trouble deciphering your question, I do agree with you in a way. But then again I don't. Muslims are very sensitive nowdays, ever since 9/11 and I understand where they're coming from. So many people paint them with the same brush and call them terrorists for nothing. But you're right in a way - they're kinda becoming over-sensitive.

If at all a person take anything seriously..Can it be anything other than religion. Religion is something that defines reality of mankind and their relation with God. This is religion which makes me humane, otherwise if we just have to enjoy and do whatever I wish to do, than how am I different from animal..
we do take religion very seriously and make sure that our next generation also take more seriously..This question is meaningless, This question should be pointed to non-muslims, why they do not take their religion seriously..
Mind you, our religion does not ask to believe in illogical beliefs like trinity and original sins..Our religions deserved to be taken seriously. Not even muslims even non-muslims take Islam seriously.

Understanding on both sides creates this. I don't understand you and you don't understand me so let's fight about it. I guess this will always be the way. A select few can see past this and know we are products of experiences that make us one way and some have a hard time seeing outside their self.
However if there is any subject to be more passionate for I have yet to see it.

of course most of the Muslims are logical but unfortunately they do not pay attention on if they answer correctly the people that get answer think better about them.most of them just learned to pray.one they one of the people that did not believe in god asked a question from "Ali" ,he is one of the greatest men in Islam, he said :Ali, how you can pray a god that you can not see?,Ali answered :I will not pray a god that I can not see. I think most of Muslims are in effect of their government and can not see out of religious matters.

they think from heart...and never bother to use their brain ..Actually, many muslims don't practice islam in their real time lives, otherwise it's been written in Quran, to listen with patience, if anyone says or argue with you on islam..I don't mind but ya, mostly muslims get rashed, and don't even listen or work around logics..I guess, it's individual's way of behave, so you should consider it aswell..Becuase of some aggressive muslims we are being called "Extermists"..
and at your end , try to approach some educated, open-mind muslims about these questions/things you have in your mind

I DO AGREE TO YOUR POINT BUT IT IS ONLYONE SIDE OF THE COIN U SEE.

THEY ARE POSSESSIVE TO THEIR RELIGION THEY FOLLOW STRICKS RULES AND MANY TIMES THEY ARE INNOCENT ABOUT THE FACT THEY JUST FOLLOW THR LEADERS. SO IF ONE LEADER IS WRONG HE WHOLE THING GOES WRONG. THEY HAVE BLIND FAITH IN RELIGION AND THE SAGES............
