Jesus (Yashua- his Hebrew name means God saves!) did say that he was the savior that the jews were promised when he said "I am come to save the lost sheep of Israel". And when he acknowledged Peter's affirmation of him as the messiah, the living God. (Matt 16, Mark 8, Luke 9)
However he also commanded his disciples to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all nations. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. "
John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that so whoever believed him would not die but have eternal llife" The sacrifice of Jesus is for all believers not just those of Jewish descent.
The apostle Paul explains this very thoroughly and explains that the gentiles are grafted on to the promises that God made to the Jews(read Romans 11 and see 11:17).
What's important is that he came first to the Jew as was promised (see Romans 1:16). Jesus is God and the Messiah long expected! (see John 1)

Despite other entries, Jesus IS God; God incarnate. He is the "Son of God" but He is literally "God the Son." So being God, creator of all people, He is everyone's God. But when God came in the person of Jesus Christ, He arrived in time, in person, and as a Jew among Jews. His ministry lasted all of 3 years, and He was very focused on achieving His mission in that context, with apostles chosen to take His message to the rest of the world. So when He came, He said the following:
"I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel" (Matthew 15:24).

There is a verse that sounds like what you are saying:
Matthew 15:24
He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel."
But when the other verses are applied, it becomes clear that even the descendants of the enemies of Ancient Israel; the Canaanites were able to be a part of God's grace. Such is the love of God.
So to her, the Canaanite woman,
28Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

Israel, not Israil.
Jesus is a Son of Israel. Jews are Sons (or daughters) of Israel. Jesus is a Jew. Christians did not come for YEARS after Jesus (technically speaking as an organized religion).

Many of the world's top religious scholars admit that they really seldom know just what Jesus actually really said .'
I really find it inconsistent to believe that he actually even claimed divinity and that this is part of the fable that followed .
the Koran recants such and so I tend to hold it in skepticism as well as the belief in the Koran.
