this is true.

they also believe that they too can one day become a god.

It contradicts their own belief because the claim to use the Bible but the Bible says that there is only one God and He has always been and always will be God.

The Mormons have a right to their beliefs.
But what I want to know is that if they say that God had a father, where do they say that Gods father came from.
A flesh and blood man could not have created the Heaven and the earth.
So since God created every thing then how did he have an earthy father when things on earth did not exist until God created them.

So whats the difference between making one part of God come down and be a man, than another part of God being a man?

Its all the same thing. Father God's a man, no the rest of the Christians say the Son is came down to be a man, no difference.

God is part man, either way then, by either the mormons or the rest of the christians. same stuff, different day..

Yes, and they also believe that "good" Mormon men will have many wives and become gods of their own universes! And that Jesus and Lucifer were brothers; but many will deny this or are ignorant of this teaching! Don't know what, if any, benefits a "good" Mormon woman gets!

Perhaps you can make a phone call to your father god and check with him if what the mormons said are true.

One fallacy is not above another.

Had not heard that before. But after reading the Bible several times I cannot reconcile the LDS church with fundamental Christianity

Yes, I've heard that. That's just one of the reasons why I can't accept LDS. They also think they can become God, and a few other things that don't make sense to me.

It doesn't matter... of all the Christian sects, the Mormons are the least respected over all... Go figure. But it does sort of make you laugh, doesn't it. I mean, is so bazaar....

Just imagine how silly it is while you reflect on the equally silly beliefs of your own faith. Virgin birth anyone?

Anyhow, none of the religionists have it right. There's no God and their are no shreds of solid evidence to say otherwise.
