i think if anyone hates my country, it has to do with either the amount of power we have, or the amount of money we have, or both. i don't think the jews have much to do with it.

If they hate Jews,and America took them FROM Europe and assimilated them here,why would they hate that?You're right that a growing number of Europeans are anti-Zionist,but don't confuse that with anti-Semetic.Being anti-Israel does not mean you hate Jews,it means you are against the country of Israel.There can be several reasons for this.

What?

You do realise that about 95% of Germany's youth STILL feel guilty for what happened 70 years ago? That we still talk to survivors of the holocaust, and not a single bad thing was said at the talks I attended as a schoolgirl.

Those people who left the holocaust for your country have hopefully found their peace now, and I could only hope for them to be happy.

And I don't hate your country, but there are some things I don't like, as I am sure it is with every place in the world.

@Muhammad the Donkey:

I prefer higher taxes but a health system that works for everybody. Seeing that 76% of people in my state are not a member of any religion, I would think that religious freedom is pretty evident. And my country is certainly democratic; and when voting I get to choose between 5 parties, not two.

@sugarbabe:

Don't know if you've noticed, but Iraq didn't go by your laws either, and your government invaded it. So Iraqis shouldn't care, since they don't live in your country ... ? I can and will have an opinion on wars that are fought, whether or not my coutry participates. If your country hadn't intervened when my country behaved like sh**, I wouldn't be were I am now. We shouldn't just ignore a country's government because we don't live there.

no and no

Europeans do not hate America - there is a movement amongst the English at least to become the 51st state. Evidence:

1 the sacrifice of the English language for the American language by the media.

2 the desperate clinging of the English to ancient and obsolete weights and measure just to be like the USA.

As for the thing about the Jews - where did you get that from?

Your awesome in announcing polls in Europe do no longer instruct a favorable opinion of u.s.(individuals) and Israel( Jews no depend the place they're from )! Anti semitism has never died in Europe and anti Americanism has continually been element of political schedule....on a similar time i will assure you as one that lived in Europe for over 2 many years.. Europeans have a concern with them selves as nationalism is basic debate whilst it comes as an occasion discussing the ecu... as a fashion to respond to your question its purely the way they're..yet another component I observe is very some individuals talk with Europe as socialist ..in spite of the fact that there are socialist governments for the main section Europe is social democratic..and there's a distinction !

Do You Think Europeans Hate America?

2007-10-03 21:00:07 · answer #6 · answered by Mirko 7 · 3 2

They may be jealous because of all the talent and smart people we inherited. Their loss is our gain! They are Americans now! We win! I hope they send us more like this. They are the kind of immigrants that make America great! I am proud to have them with us!

Most Europeans don't hate America, but Mr Bush is none too popular over there. And it is nothing to do with treatment of Jews.

Do you think we hate anti-Semitic questions because they assimilate the hatred that others have kicked out?

That's just plain ridiculous. The Jews have contributed a lot to America, more than most, so it's their loss if anything.

No, Europeans hate America because we were founded on conservative values of small government, low taxes, and religious freedom and it's put their liberal behinds to shame for a couple hundred years
