you know jack russells are know to kill cats? well i was walking up the stairs and my neighbour had let their cat outside their door. my dog saw it and ran to it, smelling it very intensely. he was very interested in what it was and he kept smelling it but he did not attack or bite it. he is a very friendly dog but i swear i thought he would attack the cat. is he one of those few jack russells who dont?
the cat was circling him as well. i picked my dog up and put him in the other direction and he was fine with going up with me

QUESTION: WHY DIDNT MY JACK RUSSELL ACT ON INSTINCT? HE USUALLY DOES WITH EVERYTHING ELSE AND HE HAS NEVER MET CATS IN HIS LIFE, NOR DOES HE LIVE WITH THEM\
am i lucky to have a jack russell which isnt a stereotypical one?
