There is no such thing as, "Except for the Bible (New Testiment)." The word is final! Ever since God said,"Let there be light," the word is final! Jesus was God in the flesh, sent to experience everything we go through and yet, sinned not. Think about it," God the Father, God The Son,God The Holy Spirit." All are one. You are a daughter, a sister, possibly a mother, and you are one. After the resurrection, God gave Jesus ALL POWER. So, who is God?

By comparing the Old Testament with the New, it becomes obvious. Jesus was around from the beginning.

Look at Revelation 22:

3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. 4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.

Note that it says His servants shall serve "HIM" not them.
They shall seee "HIS" face, and "HIS" name, not their name shall be on their foreheads.

By comparing dozens of verses in the OT with the New, it becomes obvious that Jesus is God. For example:

Isaiah 44:6 with Revelation 1:17. How can there be 2 firsts and 2 lasts?

God means having a special powers over the lives and affairs of people and the course of nature; supreme being, almighty. A person or thing deified or excessively honored and admired. If you believe that Jesus is God , then Jesus is God.

In Old Testament days only the Rabbi's had the Torah which was the word of God no one else had access to it.
Each Rabbi had a teacher who was taught by another Rabbi before him.
Jesus didn't have a Rabbi in the traditional sense and He fulfilled each and every single prophecy foretelling His arrival and identity.
The only ones who knew about the Prophecies of Jesus coming were the Rabbi's no one else knew anything about it except that one day the son of God would come and save them.
That's why when Jesus was preaching the word of God in the synagogues the Rabbi's were amazed and wanted to know where He had learned what He was preaching they asked Him who His Rabbi was (which means 'teacher') and Jesus replied "My Father in Heaven" meaning God.
Jesus fulfilled each and every single prophecy given to us by the prophets and He also fulfilled the Law of Moses completely and perfectly.
In Genesis 3:14 God Himself gave the first Prophesy of the Messiah's arrival when He said:
"And I will put enmity between you and the woman,And between YOUR SEED AND HER SEED,HE SHALL BRUISE YOUR HEAD AND YOU SHALL BRUISE HIS HEEL"
Now everyone knows that the seed of procreation lies within the man and not the woman. It is the mans seed that fertilizes the womans egg.
But Jesus didn't have a human father because God would plant the seed of Jesus in Mary in order so Jesus could be born spiritually alive without sin.
And God foretold Satan's defeat when He said that Eve's seed would bruise his head because a blow to the head is deadly while a strike to the heel isn't.
God had a plan from the very beginning to send us a redeemer and defeat Satan we can always rely on our Father to save us and love us.
God placed enmity between women and Satan and Satan hates women mostly because we bring life into this world while he wants death.
Jesus is the son of God who came here not to judge the world but to save it.
One mans sin brought death.
One mans death brought redemption.

There are numerous references in the Old Testament that point to the coming of Jesus Christ. One instance:
Genesis 22:8
"And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together."
Yet instead of offering the son as God told Abraham to, a ram was found and offered. Yes it was said that God would provide Himself a lamb. The lamb was Jesus.
There are many more signs that point to His coming.

Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

If you say Jesus is God, then you directly contradict other verses that say otherwise. For instance, if Jesus is God...

Why did he say his Father is the only true God? John 17:3.

Why did Gabriel tell Mary that she would give birth to God's Son, NOT God? Luke 1:35.

Why did he tell Mary that they BOTH worshiped the SAME God? John 20:17.

Why did Jesus tell his followers to pray to someone OTHER THAN HIMSELF?

Who is his God and Father? Col. 1:1

Why did SOMEONE ELSE know something that neither he nor the angels knew? Matt. 24:36

Why did he have to be taught what to say? John 8:28

Why would the HUMAN Jesus say that God was a SPIRIT and that he was looking for those to worship HIM with sprit and truth"? John 4:23, 24.

Why would Heb. 9:14 say that he offered himself to God? Did he offer himself to himself?

Who was sent to earth? God or SOMEONE ELSE?

Why did he say his teachings weren't his? If they weren't his, whose were they? John 7:16, 17.

Why would Satan and the demons call him "Son of God"? Luke 4:3, 9; 41. Could they have been mistaken?

Why did he call himself God's Son? John 10:36.

Why did he say that salvation hinged on doing SOMEONE ELSE'S will, and not his own will? Matt. 7:21.

Why would he come to earth to makes someone ELSE'S name known? John 17:26.

Who gave him the revelation? Rev. 1:1.

Why would Peter call him the Son of God and NOT God? Matt. 16:16.

Why would his disciples call him God's Son and NOT god? Matt. 14:33.

Why would SOMEONE ELSE have to give him "authority over all flesh"? John 17:2. If he were God, wouldn't he already have that authority?

Why would it be necessary to pray to the Father? Why not pray directly to Jesus?

Why did he say that SOMEONE ELSE was greater than he was? Who could be greater than God? John 14:28.

Why did Jesus' best friend call him God's Son and NOT God? John 20:31.

Why was it necessary for SOMEONE ELSE to raise him from the dead?

Can God die? Ps. 90:2.

How could he be at his own right hand? Ro. 8:34

Why does 1 Cor. 8:6 say that ONLY the Father is God?

How could he be God when he is the Mediator BETWEEN God and men? Was he between himself and men? 1 Tim. 2:5.

How could he "appear in the presence of God for us"? Did he appear before himself? Heb. 9:24.

Why would SOMEONE ELSE have to GIVE him "all authority in heaven and earth"? If he were God, wouldn't he lready have that authority? Matt. 28:18.

If Jesus were calling himself God at John 8:58, WHERE does that leave the Father and the holy spirit?

In John 5:18 we are told that Jesus’ opponents sought to kill him because he "called God his Father, making himself equal with God." Did you read this verse carefully? Apparently not. If you had, you would have noticed that the Jews did NOT call Jesus God. Instead, they wrongly concluded that Jesus was making himself EQUAL to God because Jesus called God his Father. CAN'T YOU SEE THAT? The Jews also wrongly concluded that Jesus was breaking the Sabbath because he healed a man on the Sabbath which was NOT wrong!

The evidence is overwhelming that Jesus is God's Son, NOT God.

It's spelling like that that leaves me a bit testy. You can't know that Jesus is God without God revealing this to you. So ask him.

No. There is no other evidence outside of the Christian bible that says that Jesus was a god or God or the son of a God or part of some holy triumvirate. Religion (all religion) is a matter of faith. If you buy it, you buy it, if you don't, you don't.
