What you are experiencing is normal for a child, imagining dire events that might happen to you. It is not normal to get panic attacks and I wonder whether you have been diagnosed with them by a physician.
When I was six or seven I used to imagine there were hyenas who would eat me and get real scared and have to go outside or find an adult to accompany me into empty rooms. It was because I had read about and seen pictures of hyenas and my mind was imagining extreme things about them in relation to me.
So, if you have been indulging in a lot of TV with murders on it then you might be over imagining that you might become one and that frightens you. SHUT THE TV OFF for a start! What is on there would give an adult nightmares if they weren't so inured to it. If you truly have had the diagnosis of panic attacks and depression and are under the care of a physician you have to pay attention to what he/she says.
I'm sure he/she told you to spend more time on pleasant positive activities so you wouldn't have so much time to meditate on the "crazy negative ideas" your prone to. Your frightening yourself with these "crazy things." Go out and play when you start the thoughts-do something different. By the way no one is born a "killing type of person" they have to learn to be one. Again stop watching negative influences like "horror movies" and shows on TV!
I grew out of being afraid of hyenas by simply learning there were no hyenas in the USA!
Good mental health in your leisure time, good luck, peace and love!

It starts with thoughts. You are panicing about the unknown and it is making you fearful. I'll try to help, hope it works. Fear is a reaction to elements. If you take out your thoughts about killing what you are going to be like later in life and just enjoy being 12, I think you'll be alright. Being 12 is pretty fun and crazy all at the same time and there's so much to do in your life that worrying about 10 or 20 yrs from now is really pointless. Here's why.. your life is going to be so different just in the next year. You'll be 13 and getting to do more things than you are now. Your friends will be a little wierder more fun and all into the clothes craze. If you aren't into makeup that will happen and by the time you are 15 it'll be even busier. So what I want you to do is think up some fun things. Like if you had all the money in the world where would you go? What would you do? Do you like amusement parks or mini golfing? Do like Imax theatre or rent movies. What if? What if I got in a car wreck and left my two sons motherless do you know that freightens me to death, but I know one thing, they know they are two most loved boys in the universe. I make sure of it. You are not going to be killer.. maybe a killer of ants or spiders. Panic disorder, nope you are just a pre teen with an over active imagination which is a sign of intelligence. Super vervous? Most people wouldn't know how to spell vervous at 40. Hop off the puter and go rest... kill ants and spiders another day...

Stay calm. Cool down and relax. What you need to do is to get out and be with your friends. If you can't find anybody, go out and enjoy something you like. Basically, you need to get out and LIVE LIFE. Life has its ups and downs so you have to wrestle with it.
Listen to your favourite music. Tune up the radio if you are in-door. Music has got a therapeutic effect which will soothes wrecking nerves.
Find out what's your interest and take up sports - jogging, swimming, badmintons, hip-hop dancings, sailing, snorkelling etc. All these will shake off depression and spur you to live happily in life.
Hope the above helps. Heaven will only help you when you help yourself. Cheers and good luck to you!

take a deep breath and calm down hun. if you think about it now, is there anything that has happened recently to make you think like this? dont think about what may happen in the future, but just think of now. right now you know you wouldnt become a murderer. just go with that. there is no way you could take a life. its just wrong, and you dont have that sort of drive. dont worry about it.
also, i think i would talk to your parents and a doctor about how you are feeling. there might be something that they can do for you.
good luck sweetie!

Let's say you have two wolves in your head. One is incredibly destructive and negative and the other is postive and optimistic. Which one is more powerful? Which one survives? Which one takes over? Answer? The one you feed. If you want to be happy, feed the happy wolf. That means doing everything you can to try to be happy. Aim your life toward happiness and serenity by trying you hardest to think those kind of thoughts. You can feed the negative wolf by thinking negatively, but why would you want to? I'll bet your parents trained you to be nervous. I'll bet they're nervous themselves. The good news is that you don't have to become your parents. Decide who you want to become and train your life to that end by training your thoughts to who you want to become. If you want to become a nervous wreck and a murderer, that is who you will become. If you want to become a happy, healthy, contributing member of society, that is who you will become. You are in control and you make the choice. Good luck :-)

We think crazy when we don't have anything useful to think. So, read some good motivational book before going to bed, it will help you. I hope, you believe in God. If so, then leave the future worries to Him. He is there to take care of His children. You are urself a powerful source of energy, si nothing can shake you. Have faith in Him n urself.

Have you talked to your parents about these panic attacks?? You really should so that you can get help to control them. I know that they can be controlled because I and my 15 year old daughter and I have them and we're on medications that help keep them under control. IF for some reason you can't talk to your parents talk to your school counselor and they should be able to help you. Make sure that you talk to someone there is help out there for you and it's not hard to get but you have to ask for help.

hey sweety. I really dont know..as im not a qualified physician. I guess the best advice that I can give is try not to think all these bad thoughts. As soon as something bad pops into your head..FORCE it out. DONT let it run your life. When you think of something bad..immediately think of something good. You can beat it. I recommend you go see someone about this. This is beatable k :-) Remember..YOU control what you think about.

i almost didn't answer this question because you are 12 years old, and you still are dependent on your parents. Lot's of panic disorders come from stress or feelings you don't feel appropriage to feel such as anger or guilt. i'm not saying it applies to you and it might not at all but you should go on this website; www.alice-miller.com and read through it. if it doesn't apply to you then just disregard it.
