Use a zig-zag cut around the middle of the watermelon, and gently break in half. Scoop the watermelon out with a melon baller to make balls, then scrape out the rest of the watermelon (save to eat later, or to make into a slushie). This gives you a watermelon "bowl" (slice off a thin slice of the bottom so it doesn't roll), and lots of melon balls.

Add melon balls from cantelope and honeydew, and some pineapple chunks. Mix. You might want to add a sugar syrup, or the syrup from the pineapple, and mint makes a lovely and flavorful addition. Or try rose geranium for a different kick.

It's really easy, but looks so impressive!

go to flowerstoeat.com theres a fruit basket thing with pineapple flowers and ive acutally made one. instead of using a real basket use the watermelon. i saw the idea and decided to make one for my wedding. it was a huge hit. people couldnt believe i had done it. now i make them for every family get together. it takes some time but its worth it.

theres a scoop you can buy like an icecream scoop only they are tiny little balls
but other than that i dont really know i just cut mine in tiny thin slices leaving the skin on so you can hold it
