I have been dating this girl for quite some time now, but we haven't had sexual intercourse. Although, we do pretty much everything else but that. She says she is a virgin but she can spread her lips pretty wide. Is this proof to the contrary?

Not at all, the hymen is located inside the vagina and is regarded as a indication of virginity whether it is broken or not.
However a female may still be a virgin even if her hymen is 'broken' as this may have occurred doing sport or many other ways, without her ever having had sex.
The best way of determining if a girl is a virgin for most men is to believe what they say, a lot more girls will tell the truth than there are girls that lie about it.

No... the look of a vagina has nothing to do with the virginity...
the definition of loosing the virginity is a penis coming in contact with the vagina... it doesnt even have to go in... as long as it touches, then that is it...
the sure fire way, that works atleast half of the time is to see if her hymen is broken, if not, then she is still a virgin...
but women can have that broken during sports or excercise... so it isnt rare to not have one...

Don't they teach you anything in school anymore? For goodness sake, that has NOTHING to do with it. I suggest you get yourself a decent anatomy book, with pictures so you can actually see what a girl is meant to look like.

nope. if she can open her labia, what you just see is her majora. the inside could very well be intact. then again, try not to be focused on the virginity issue. focus more on the emotions. =)

Which lips are you talking about? She has two pairs - Labia Majora and Labia Minora.
If she could spread her Labia Majora, she is just fine. But if she could spread her Labia Minora, then the alarm bells could start ringing.

virginity cannot be easily proved.. do u know that women who are involved in sports .. like cycling and athletics actually loose their hymen in such activities.. so in one way she isnt a virgin cause she doesnt have her hymen intact.. other hand she is a virgin cause she hasnt had sex
