I would recommend the Acura (only if its a 2005 or later RL) because its probably cheaper and just as good as the ES350. I think the styling looks better too (more sportier)

Out of these two only, taking into consideration the history of the two (LS back to the LS400 and RL back to the Legend), long term mileage about equal, considering the RL is only a V6. LS have been known to run to 300K with no problems on the engine or transmissions. Legends also up beyond 200K. As for cost, the RL and LS will be about the same, with Lexus being just slightly more as the LS does not share many parts with Toyota siblings, while the RL has some cross parts. If you're comparing the luxury and handling of the two, then no comparison, the RWD LS is by far better than the SH-AWD of the RL. This from driving the two. The LS just has more torque and power delivery, while the RL is more sure footed around tight turns because of the AWD. Lexus is a super quiet highway cruiser, while the RL I compare more to the Lexus GS.

Do you mean the Lexus GS350? The ES350 stickers for around only $35k. An ES350 for $45k is terribly overpriced, it is essentially a more luxurious version of the Camry.

A Lexus is pretty similar to an Acura. Acura are usually cheaper.

I'd go with neither, but if I had to choose, it would be the Lexus. Lexus is made by Toyota which is notorious for their dependability.

what is the priority, new or used, you get better value from the used car since a new one depreciated right away, but with a new one, its new.
