CLOSE friends for years and he's secretly liked me but he never went for it b/c he thought the chances of being w. me were slim only to find out that after all this time, I felt the same way back - I was the first girl he fell in love with (both in our 20's and gave him his first kiss; no sex just kisses) BUT "life challenges" (death) and rumors/assumptions from friends made us drift apart (he pushed me away) and it created tension BUT rather than giving up or seeking revenge, we worked it out and everything is starting to be better than before, the relationship grew (this happened in a 9 month span)

in the beginning as friends we would always be on the phone talking almost every night - we enjoy each other 's company. we've been growing up and changing and now the phone isn't really the best way to "talk" and see what's up with him; esp. after that "thing" we had - i called him today wonderin where he was and if he could mt up for a min and he said he had to work BUT said he was goin to be studying all day tomorrow and said he would be down for "hanging out" then - good?

hell no its not good

if i fall in luv i wud not miss an opportunity to see the stars of my life
she wud twinkle in my eyes even if i see her walk by after a min of absence

but i feel not everyone finds comfort by being in physical presence of one another

and maybe its not good to be together so much coz then u become like furniture thats just there when u wanna use it and never runs away otherwise
a bit of distance even in superb relations keeps the fire alive and need for each others bodies sparking.. at each others presence

another thing

a bit of mushy talk on the cell or phone goes a long way to make u feel very warm when next u meet up...

if he is busy hes opened up to u rather than beat around the bush and make silly excuses to keep u in doubt if u find he'was lying

hes acting mature and responsible and not losing his head over ur relation
but wants to concentrate on his long term career so he can give u and himself a better life...

:)

Unless the guy is real shy or insecure, he would rather see the girl in person. The best thing you should do is to agree with him that you will be pretty busy and have studying/working, or whatever to make you not appear available all the time. Put some mystery into your relationship. It's good if he wonders, hmmmm, I wonder what she is doing and why I haven't heard from her! Let him have a chance to chase you.

I'd rather see in person, but every guy is different (just like girls.)
ask the person what he prefers, it could be a good conversation starter as well ;)

good luck.
