I believe in god, but I don't follow rules of any religion, such as "no sex before marriage" Ect. I don't like the setup of organized religions and feel they are too tainted by beliefs of modern man, so I don't participate (and I don't agree with alot of what they say) I'm a good person, I don't lie, cheat, or steal, and I'll be the first one to help you when you need it. I feel like I have a personal relationship with god, just me and him, and I dont have to be part of something to prove that - if someone asks my religion- what would that be?
Also, I respect everyones beliefs.

==============================
When someone asks: "What religion are you?" they are likely really asking the more provocative "Which religious denomination do you belong to?"
Since you do not belong to any, an appropriate and polite yet tactful response might be something along the lines of:
"If you mean 'which denomination do I belong to?' I respect everyone’s beliefs... and my belief is that I have a personal relationship with God, just between me and him. Therefore I do not feel the desire or need to be part of any particular sect or religious denomination in order to demonstrate and/or validate my relationship with Him"
==============================
Noun: religion
1. A strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny
2. An institution to express belief in a divine power
==============================
Noun: sect
1. A subdivision of a larger religious group
2. A dissenting clique
==============================
Noun: denomination
1. A group of religious congregations having its own organization and a distinctive faith
2. Identifying word or words by which someone or something is called and classified or distinguished from others
==============================
Noun: belief
1. Any cognitive content held as true
2. A vague idea in which some confidence is placed

Keep it up !! You really don't need to be classified to any religion. I know how difficult it is when u try to explain this to someone religious.. they come up with question like, how was the world created.. what was the role of ur God in this creation..where do u go whn u die..etc. I have really got fed up answering such Qs.
And "no sex before marraige" is part of my culture not religion so i agree with it. And i belive in science & evolution. If evolution theory is wrong, science would prove it someday & i'm ready to wait :)
I too feel a personal relationship with God & don't see the need of a religion in that relationship. And star for ur question :)

You can call yourself a "theist" (theism = belief in deity), but that's about all you can say. The rest of what you wrote doesn't define enough, aside from the fact that you don't belong to any religion.
You could also go with the popular fad of saying "I'm spiritual but not religious".
EDIT: Somebody said "deist", but this is wrong. If you have a "personal relationship with God" then that means you believe in a God who can take some relation to human affairs, and thus by definition can't be deist. Deists believe that the universe had a creator BUT that this deity has no interaction or care about humans either way.
Some people are saying "non-denominational", but this implies you have a religion in the first place and just don't subscribe to any particular sect. You haven't indicated any religion, regardless of sect, so this term doesn't apply.

"Theist" is a term that encompasses pretty much all faith-based religions. You believe in any sort of supernatural higher power, you're part of that group.
Your question is which subset of that group are you. "Deist" seems close, but not quite right. Deists believe in a non-personal god - if you like: a supernatural mechanic who jump-started the universe but now has nothing to do with it (often this god is invented by deists to fill the "why is there something rather than nothing" gap). This belief is not based on any "holy" books etc.
Some think that means the deist god is cold and distant, but some deists (and this is where you fit by the sounds of it) believe that this original creator retains a profound link with all living creatures - just doesn't do anything or get involved.

You are spiritual.
If we were all spiritual this world would be a better place.
In my opinion... not that it counts for every one.. You are one of the few that are evolved into a more peaceful and loving person. What God had in mind for us as humans in the first place.
You are intelligent enough to understand all religions cant be so different and all right at the same time, but feel and have an understanding of God and what he expects from you.

You can be the proud (read humble) follower of the Universal and Eternal Divine Religion. In India we call it Sanatan Vedic Dharma.
I am happy that you are not into the prevalent religions of the world, which are only for following etiquette's cultures in the name of God. They can never take you to the 'Truth". There may be simplicity and honesty among most of the practitioners of these religions, but we need to target our real aim, and not just follow a religion for the sake of following and feeling happy in just not having ill will for others.
We need to find God, and not just die doing altruism or not doing harm to others. We need to apply our mind, if we call ourselves intelligent, and not follow the rat race by thinking ourselves believers or atheists.
You are neutral and you have an easier task. Others will have to shun their egos which is very difficult.

Here are some options that seem to fit. I give you links to
them, but also provide brief synopses. I sympathize with your predicament, having been through it years ago.
Bahai Faith. See link below for details. This is a 19th century invention which took the best inspirations from the major theistic religions and melded them into a coherent set.
More organized and serious than the next two.
Unitarian. See link below for details. It started as a protestant reformist movement to unify the disparate strands of Christianity. You know what happens when you do that -- the inconsistent stuff is chucked out. So they ended up with a very mild, direct-to-God version, benign and welcoming of other tolerant religions. Many part-time clergy, many lay clergy.
Quaker. See link below for details. It's early manifestation was not promising -- very austere, prohibited alcohol, etc. One redeeming feature, the Cadbury family started the cocoa and chocolate company in Birmingham, and for chocolate afficionados all is forgiven :-). Today, Quakers are famous for their pacificism and electicism, vaguely theistic, but also accepting mild Buddhists into their "flock".
No priesthood.

no one in the world has the right to classify your religion. that is something that only YOU can do. You believe in god, and you are a good person, do a little searching and im sure you will find a religion that fits you. just tell tell the people that you believe in a higher power but do not classify yourself.

Sounds good. I would not be offended at being a part of that religion. Keep it up and don't try to fit in to something that is not comfortable to you. You do the ten commandments, I don't know of the commandment about sex before marriage. You do not steal (that's one), you do not lie (there's another one). You are good to your friends (Jesus gave only one commandment, that we love one another, sounds like you are dead on). You may see yourself as Christian or Jewish and have all that going on. You could be many religions or none, if you want to belong to one make your commitment to a baptism but visit the church you like first and make sure you really want to be baptised there. Organized religion is only a guiding post not a hard and fast set of rules. We are told when the perfect comes the rest will be done away (II Corinthians), you can focus on the perfect the rest will fade anyway.
You can ask yourself how you want to be buried and how you want to have your final prayers handled, how you want to be married, and how you want to educate your children. Will it be important to baptize and christen your children? You can base your religion on the things that are important to you in your life.
Take it to prayer and read your scriptures. Your answers are in your scriptures. Good luck.

You just might be a well rounded, adult human being. This should be the ultimate goal of most people. The patriarchal religions expect people to look down on those of other faiths, even among the panasea of xtian ones. Seems like the theory is, "if it ain't like us, it is wrong." I feel like you do, except I do like to speak my mind and don't care if it is accpeted or not. I like the diversity. I am against homogenizing the human race to all be like one group, how boring!!!
