Limbaugh was referring to Americans who falsely claim to have served in the military – specifically Jesse Macbeth, who said in a widely seen video that he had served in Iraq and Afghanistan and claimed that he and other U.S. soldiers had killed innocent civilians there.

In fact, Macbeth was discharged from the Army after several weeks of basic training, and never served in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Rush did NOT say anything about soldiers in Iraq! His remark concerned a man who was drummed out after forty-five days, and claimed to have been a soldier in Iraq and Afghanistan, when he was never there. Macbeth LIED,LIED,LIED! Now, do you get it?

I know this doesn't fit the socialist goals of Democrats, but it's the REAL TRUTH!

Jesse MacBeth didn't go through Basic and was discharged after 44 days (Army Basic Training is 56 days long, or 8 weeks).

Now, MacBeth claimed that he was a US Army Ranger (which he wasn't) that was wounded in Iraq (which he wasn't) and spewing lies about our troops. On the other hand, Rush Limbaugh, has been on the air for over 30 years and has supported the troops, unlike ex-soldiers like John Murtha or John Kerry, who have insulted the honor of soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan by accusing them of being murderers and terrorists.

Sorry, I trust Limbaugh more than a no-name loser like MacBeth

No he was talking about one who claimed to be a veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq that ABC ran a story on who was a fake. He was booted out of the army after serving only 44 days.
Now the Senate says that he was talking about ALL those who served in Iraq and are against the war there.
He has stated over and over throughout the years that he respects those in uniform and gives them the utmost respect regardless of what those in the media and senate are saying now.

Rush is probably one of the most patriotic of all people and would never say anything about the military that isn't true Why is it that when some liberal rag sheet makes derogatory comments about the military, the government or whatever, the liberals think it is great but when a conservative makes any kind of comment, good or bad, they are accused of being unpatriotic and making derogatory comments. He has explained what he said and has proved, at least as far as I am concerned, that his comment was taken out of context. I don't believe he meant anything bad about the military, only about those who lie to get the nation stirred up.

it fairly is the thank you to marginalize those with yet another opinion. as quickly as you marginalize a team of folk to a minimum of a few thing this is senseless to the mainstream, you may ignore approximately them as kooks. in case you're "Anti-American" you're as a result at odds with the 300+ million human beings in u.s.. So, you're opinion does not depend. it fairly is such as human beings in this board utilising the term "Neocon" a number of cases an hour. via fact that a neocon is somebody who has perverted conservatism to the factor the place they alienate the two the liberals and conservatives in a quest for potential. utilising the term marginalizes them to their very own corner via fact that they're out of step with the finished political technique.

Unless anyone can proof that there are no phony soldiers in the US army, navy, etc., Rush statement stands. Anyone who disagrees with that also disagrees with reality.
