Remember these. Broken any lately??

1) Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
2 ) Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, nor bow down thyself to them, nor serve them
3) Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain;
4) Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
5) Honour thy father and thy mother
6) Thou shalt not kill.
7) Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8) Thou shalt not steal.
9) Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
10) Thou shalt not covet any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

The above is a heartfelt plea.

There is no intent of malice in this.
It may be blunt, but I don't think its harsh. The ten commandments were given to us to point out our sin to us and to make us see the need for the Savior.
If you see your own behavior (as I do) in the words of Exodus 20, then you should see your need.
Please don't ignore that need or brush it off as superstitious muck.
Come to the TRUTH, ie Jesus, before it is forever too late!

Yep, I've broken a few of those. Thank God we have a savior.

I try to work Rev 20:15 into an evangelical message, myself.

I certainly confess and yes I do fall way short of God. I'm so sorry for this. But I do believe that God sent his Son Jesus so that we may live again one day and I am most greatfull. I can't do nothing more because I am a sinner and if that's what you wanted to hear then you heard it. I need to change many things in my life. I know. I want to be saved and I hope that God will have mercy on me. God Bless you.

I suggest Thou shall not be a pain in the @.

Now let's hear from an Islamic egomaniac.

You need a carrot in front of your nose and a whip at your back to observe simple morality??!

Molly, the purpose of the ten commandments is not to give us a blueprint for how to behave. The ten commandments were given to us to prove to us that we can never be good/holy in our own strength. The more I hear "dont"....the more I am driven to "do".

I want to ask you why you are being so aggressive in your questions? Most people, whether they admit it or not, know they have done wrong. Rubbing their noses in it is not really the way to lead them to know Jesus. Jesus came to seek and save the lost like a shepherd goes to find the sheep that gets lost. He doesn't scold them for getting lost, he reaches out and saves them and leads them back to safety.

I don't mean to fuss at you but your words seem almost condemning. I've never known anyone to come to God because they were verbally slapped. However, I've known lots of people, myself included, who came to Jesus because of his love for them - a love they saw no where else on this earth.

God bless you, sis in Christ.

I broke the third law. And the fourth one. And the fifth one.

Phew! That's about it.

What am I going to do about it? I'll wait for my final judgement.
