short degree program is same as Bachelor's course
old degree is same as Master.

In yr sentence there is a typo .
It's "vecchia" (old) and not "vecchina" (small old woman).

Unfortunately on-line translators used by almost all the answerers here above can't recognize that "dura" it's a verb (from durare = to last) and not an adjective and that yr typo
"vecchina" is the diminutive of "vecchio" at the feminine.
