Yeah, I'd ditch that job asap. Money's good; no social life to spend that money on isn't. Make changes to your schedule, or failing that, quit and get a new job.

It depends on how long you have been there and if you are getting anything other than money out of it. If the job has resume building or job skill experience I'd stay on. On the other hand, if they are giving you this shift because they don't like you and you feel awful about the work environment then quit. It's not worth being made to feel like a loser.
Do you have any other job options?
If you are in school the other days of the week when else would you work? Aren't there child labor laws that limit the amount of hours you should work during the week?
Don't let work interfere with your grades or studying. The couple of hundred dollars you make won't mean anything if you can't get into a good college or technical school.

Did you ask what hours you would work when you took the job? If they promised you something else and then changed your working hours, I would be upset. If I were upset and needed to work, I would look for another job before I quit the one I had because it is easier to find a job when you have a job. I assume you are in high school and they may assume those are the hours that are easier for you. Maybe you can just talk to them-nicely-and see if other hours are available. You may have an idiot manager (there are lots of vindictive ones out there too) and you may or may not be able to deal with him. If your hours are changed unreasonably, then talk first.

I knew a person that worked at a grocery store once

It is always bold brave n clever to find better work

I was a temp secretary for years n I didn't bother to pick up the 2 or three $ per hour difference between temp agencies; thats like more than $300 per month

this will freak you way out but visit a labor ready laborready.com office prior to 7am; usually they hire drifter people but they also find work for other people; they are really motivated to find presentable workers

as a woman you might pick up major money working as an assistant to light custom construction or landscaping thats much much better than restaurant pay

My first n only laborready job gave me a job offer; you might do well like that

They might pay more than the grocery store plus its valuable to know you can just have walk up n have work if you feel like it.

ummm.... no!!! a job is a job it doesn't matter what days you work i work every weekend as well if you want to quit because u don't have a social life that's not a good reason try asking for a different day here and there but with any job you are most probably expected to work at least one weekend at your age.

If you don't need the money then quit. If you do need the money, work until you can find another job.

Feel honored, your boss must trust your work to give you that many days. Have you tried asking them for at least one week-end day off?
