Drink a bunch of water, or try eating something sticky like peanut butter.
God bless!

First try gargling, I'd try saltwater because the area is probably irritated and I'd continue to gargle with salt water 2x daily for 3 or 4 days to prevent irritation of the tonsil.
If gargling doesn't work, a Qtip gently brushing the tonsil might get it, but gently so you brush it onto the Qtip or off to the side instead of into the crevices. Then, gargle.
1/2 teaspoon salt in a coffee mug of warm water.
Good luck!!!
Also, if your tonsils are large, ever emit odor, are different sizes, or even excrete a disc-like mucus(smelly) thing, go see an ear nose and throat doctor for a consult about possibly getting your tonsils removed.

It's common for popcorn kernels to stick to the lining of the throat. Have you tried eating bread, or something soft to push it down your throat? If all else fails, you may have to go to your doctor who can safely remove it by anesthetizing your throat so you don't feel anything. It's a minor procedure. Good luck!

That happened to me all the time because I had oversized tonsils (they actually touched). I usually could just reach back and manually remove it, but barring that: peanut butter. Creamy peanut butter if you've got it. Or just drink a lot of water.
I got my tonsils removed though, and now it's a non-issue.

Gosh that hurts - I hate when that happens! Usually I've picked it off with my fingernail. But if that doesn't work, try gargling with soda water or something. Maybe the bubbles would help? No, I've never tried it.
Usually I find they work themselves off eventually. Never had it go on more than about a day. Nasty little buggers.
