No, but a vet will. Also, a vet can take care of it.

If the fluid is purulent, then most likely it is an abscess. This happens when the cat gets a wound...scratch or bite, and then it scabs over. The infection builds under the skin. Sometimes, these things can heal themselves, but usually not. Often, the vet wil shave the area, drain the discharge, and determine if antibiotics will clear it up or if it needs surgery. Remember, the sooner the vet sees it, the better chance you have that just antibiotics will clear it up. If you wait too long, the infection might get worse, and then surgery will be required to fix it.

You want to know what it is? TAKE THE KITTY TO THE VET IS WHAT IT IS! I never understand why people come on here, when there is something seriously wrong with their pet (swollen head with possible liquid is very serious), or themselves or what ever it may be and take that valuable time that they could be taking there pet or what have you to the vet and wait for peoples responses, everyone here is going to say TAKE YOUR KITTY TO THE VET, DO NOT WAIT FOR ANSWERS, GO NOW. She more than likely hit her head or fell on it and she could be developing life threatening brain damage as we speak. People should come on here to ask general question about things, NOT life threating. If you have to come on here and wait for peoples answers and don't have enough common sense to know when something is seriously wrong with their pet, YOU PROBABLY AREN'T RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH TO HAVE ONE. It's a privledge not a right to have a pet.

could it be an infection? kittys are always scrathing and biting so maybe it was bitten in the head fighting with another cat. Probably it should see a vet so you know for sure.

It could be infection, a brain-related fluid, irregular growth, or some type of tumor!

Don't ask anyone that serious of a question on here, take it to your vet immediately! Don't let that baby suffer slowly, it could be hurting him! I can't tell you if I can't see it.
