Stimulant-based diet pills will get rid of the hunger. I take Adderall for ADD (it's an amphetamine), and I can't eat for 6 hours after taking it. Go to your pharmacy and buy the pills that say they'll suppress your appetite and give you energy.

When you're hungry between meals, try drinking water. Sometimes the body mistakes thirst for hunger.

Are you really hungry, or do you just have the urge to bite things? This is a symptom of rabies. You sound like you're eating plenty of food, so you might have an unrealted condition that's making you so "hungry."

Also:
- Never exercise on an empty stomach.
- don't eat much before going to bed. Your last meal should be at least 4 hours before sleep.
- Those two things are what Sumo wrestlers do to put on weight.

You should also talk to your doctor, especially since the internet has a lot of really bad diet advice. Most "diet plans" out there are very unhealthy and will take off 15 pounds fast, but then you stop losing so fast gain them all back the moment you go off the crazy diet. It sounds like what you're doing is very sensible, but clearly something is wrong. I suspect there's something in the Equate that's throwing things off balance. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist. They know about vitamins and stuff.

I know exactly what you are going through.

Not sure on what your diet it but I generally have a low carb, high protien diet, basically that means cut out pasts and stuff, stay away from softdrinks and alchol. I mostly have salads and steak/chicken or whatever.

I did some research and the worst thing you can do is NOT eat but saying that its what you eat as as snack that can stuff you up. I have a protien bar between berakkfast and lunch and another from lunch to dinner. The body is designed rto eat and by continually eatting. The best way to think about it is that by not eatting at these times your body starts to hore what it can and your body gets used to it. If you have these snacks in the long term your metabolism will increase and you will not feel as hungry (Again its what you eat so don’t think you can just eat anythign). I aslo exercise every day I recommend 30 mins walking because I diet is no good without excercie. Cantact me if you want more info

Although that is a popular method, three meals a day is insufficient. When on a diet, eat very often (6 times a day) and very small portions. If you get hungry inbetween, snack on some fruit, or sunflower seeds.
Do not get discouraged if you don't lose weight immediately. Sometimes, it takes weeks until you see results, but after, it gets much easier.
Good Luck,
Andreea.

When people overeat they are still hungry too and basically the reason for both cases is the same. You are not meeting your body's nutritional needs. When you go on a diet it not just to reduce caloric intake but increase nutritional intake. I would suggest that you go to the healthfood store and get some books on cooking healthy foods and grains. I would recommend that you eat raw fruit & veggies, whole grains/breads and meat 3-4 times a week. You may also want to consider juicing fresh vegetables.

If I'm not mistaken, you're supposed to be having 2 shakes and one small meal and nothing else. Your caloric intake is probably rather high. You might double check that. As far as the hunger goes, protein helps the body feel satisfied so see to it that you get enough protein. Good luck. A little hunger for a few days and then your stomach will adjust...

You need to eat lots of high fiber foods at meals to help you stay full longer. Also if you are eating 3 meals a day then don't use the weight loss shakes. THose shakes are designed to replace a meal. You also need to eat a high protein snack between meals and at bedtime to keep the blood sugar more level, Also remember you have to burn more calories than you take in to lose weight.

Well, shakes usually leave one hungry. Why don´t you try some other snack, like veggis and some low fat cheese? Maybe your 3 meals are very light, are you dieting on your own, or you went to a nutritionist?
Going to a professional is better, even if it costs money, but he will give you a personalized program to loose weight without feeling hungry.

Because Equate is full of crap, and all other shakes and powders are not going to work. Four shakes are a lot actually. They are full of calories.

Eat a low-fat diet, and eat when you are hungry. Drinking the shakes will only sustain your hunger.

Also drink lots of water, and exercise. This is really all common sense.

Eating foods that are high in protein will make you feel full longer since they take longer to digest. You need to find out how many calories you should be eating per day (http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm) and start a calorie journal (fitday.com). Chances are right now your calorie intake is higher than you think it is but you are not getting enough of what you need.

You should be eating .4g of protein for every pound you weigh. I eat 1800cals/day and I eat maybe 6 full meals rather than snacking. Portion control is what you need to watch.

EQUATE weight loss shakes are not good for you. They have high fructose corn syrup and protein powder in them. You are better off substituting a big apple or a bowl of oatmeal or green pea soup for your EQUATE snacks, as the added fiber will help to remove fat and cholesterol from your system, while keeping your tummy nice and full. Also, drink 4 to 8 glasses of water throughout the day to hydrate your system and again, keep your tummy full.

Hope this helps!
