I use to know someone who held a black belt in the extra-martial arts. The greatest of these, by far, is Yoda which is known to increase flexibility and enhance concentration.

Perhaps it is true that God views all sins the same - as disobedience.

However, the consequences do vary. While it may not be a bigger sin to God, it does carry heavy consequences:

1 - Guilt for cheating on your life mate

2 - Isolation

3 - Separated emotionally from your spouse and family

4 - If there are children they will model the behaviours of the parents sometimes. Also they may not be so forgiving.

5 - You could possibly introduce an STD into your marriage

6 - You may lose the things and people dear to you

So, while the sin may be the same as other sins, it is the price that you have to pay is great.

I guess for God the consequences for any sin is the same.

For life they vary.

Just my $.02 worth.

Oh yeah, gotta keep up with my theme -

The Price by Twisted Sister

how long i have wanted
this dream to come true
and as it approaches
i can't believe i'm through
i've tried,
oh, how i've tried
for a life, yes a life
i thought i knew
oh it's the price we gotta pay
and all the games we gotta play
makes me wonder if it's worth it to carry on
'cause it's a game we gotta lose,
though it's a life we gotta choose
and the price is our own life until it's done
time seems to have frozen,
but the mind can be fooled
as the days pass i discover
destiny just can't be ruled
hard times,
oh hard times,
for the prize, yes the prize,
i thought i knew
oh it's the price we gotta pay
and all the games we gotta play
makes me wonder if it's worth it to carry on
'cause it's a game we gotta lose,
though it's a life we gotta choose
and the price is our own life until it's done
oh it's the price we gotta pay
and all the games we gotta play
makes me wonder if it's worth it to carry on
'cause it's a game we gotta lose,
though it's a life we gotta choose
and the price is our own life until it's done
oh it's the price we gotta pay
and all the games we gotta play
makes me wonder if it's worth it to carry on
'cause it's a game we gotta lose,
though it's a life we gotta choose
and the price is our own life until it's done

There is no such thing as a sin. It's a made up concept - It's basically all down to CONTROL - to having power over people.
See, you take something that's completely inevitable that people will do. Breathing would be a bit too radical, so let's take sex. Make it a total sin. Have some crazy pope write a textbook on how to conceive children without actually having any fulfillment with sex. Yup, go that far if you must.
Now, you know people will still do it, it's inevitable, right? So make them feel GUILTY for it - they sinned, after all. And because they feel guilty, they must go to confession to get rid of those sins.
Now you nearly have them where you want them - you get to talk to them privately, influencing their thoughts, offering your cr4p in exchange for them not feeling guilty anymore - and getting information. People in confession will tell you a lot of things. And in exchange you can wash their brain and make them into following you blindly. And donate money to your church.

See? The concept of sin is all about control over people.

I thought God is the one who passes judgment on what is right and what is wrong ? Well according to God YES it is a great Sin, but then again if it is according to what we Humans ''think'' then I'm sure we'll find an excuse for every sin and declare them all as ''not great Sins''.

Is that 'greatest' as in biggest, or best?

The most dangerous sin is rejecting Salvation, otherwise known as the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

The most fun? That depends on the individual.

Yes. Grieving the Holy Spirit.

All sin is against God ... period !!! Sins of sex tend to get most of the coverage by us human folk. Let's face it people. Sex is enjoyable ... that's why we all end-up doing it. The problem comes in when sex is treated cheaply. People get hurt emotionally, and sometimes physically (STDs, unwanted pregnancies, divorces, children aren't adequately nor properly nourished in the love of a stable family situation). Sexual temptations are very difficult for Christians to "police" and it is best to avoid the situation from the on-set. God has our best interests at heart. He doesn't want us to be screwing everything we see ! Lieing is just as bad - bearing false witness caused Jesus Christ to be murdered !

I think sin is only alive in mistakes that people choose not to better themselves from.

It's so big, it's not just a sin, it's breaking a commandment!

Anger, lust, greed, gluttony, sloth, pride and envy are the seven deadly sins, and I believe pride is the most difficult of them.
