as I look to God, I see that no one really knows who created the catholic chruch, it just formed on its own and the same with there bible.

BUT the rest of the chruchs were created by marten luther, and he
changed the bible and took books out of them, or the catholic church, who they do not know who, added books to it.

our God is a unknown God, the Catholic church created by a unknown being, the Pentacostal, and all the rest, the KJV, NIV, NKJV bibles and all this mess, and mess in chruch's baptist, Martin luther, salvation army, ya da ya da. all created by the direction of a man and him saying he is in the holy ghost. All these chruchs claim they were created by the holy ghost..

I am sick of all these chruch's , and bibles and the $1,000,000 bible francise because it is still the best seller changing the english language over and over so you can read it better, your's for 29.99.But I have only experanced the holy spirit in the pentacostal chruch, not any other chruch.so far....

I Have wept in the pentacostal church, to my knees, I was walking down this isle in a edmonton pentacostal chruch and his holy spirit fell upon me, and my heart sang with unbeleveable joy and everything was white, I only seem to cry in worship at the pentacostal chruch. I went to this knock of verson of pentacostal church for 7 months nothing, dead. I only went to the catholic chruch once, But I say if I do not expericace the holispirit right away in the chruch then this is not his home, and when I was there it was dead. I have been away from the pentacostal chruch for over a yr, I am thinking of going back and see if he is still there.

even as where Jesus is, there is the Catholic Church'' Ignatius of Antioch, 1st c. A.D

I am a convert to the Catholic Church and I can assure you that Christ is there, in spirit and flesh.

Before Catholicism, I was like you, searching for God’s truth and the “right” church. I seen all the hoop-la, one guy or church telling me one thing, another guy or church telling another - both claiming to be right.

It took God’s call and guiding hand to properly teach me the Faith, which I learned through RCIA at the Catholic Church. I learned not just doctrine, but history.

The Church CAN trace Her history back to Jesus; the Church CAN trace the history and development of the bible, since after all, She is the one who wrote it.

The bible is actually a collection of books, a library. The word “bible” comes from the Greek “biblia”, meaning “books”. The writings contained in it stretch back thousands of years.

As far as the issue of who “added” books, the protestants maintain a misconception that the reason Catholics have more books in our bible is because we later added some after its canonization. That is completely false.

In brief, the ancient Hebrew OT was translated into Greek about 200 BC, since Greek was the prevalent language then. This translation is known as the Septuagint. This work was the version of scripture that Christ and the apostles used.

Through the years following Christ, numerous Christian letters and gospels were written. Over centuries of discernment, the Catholic Church decided on which books were inspired and which weren’t, establishing the Christian canon of scripture. It was the official canon for all Christianity until the Protestant Reformation.

When the Protestants showed up, they decided the revamp the bible, particularly the OT and parts of the New. Here’s what they did:

Back in the year 90 AD, after the Roman destruction of Jerusalem, the Jewish leaders held a council in Jamnia, where they decided to official canonize the Jewish OT. During this council, they threw out 7 OT books - 1 & 2 Maccabees, Tobit, Judith, Song of Songs, Wisdom, and Sirach.

Fast-forward to 1500 and the Protestants revamped the bible by throwing out the Septuagint, which Christ and the apostles studied from and the early Church kept, and adopted the new Jewish canon, which was minus the 7 books. This is why the Protestants have 7 less books than Catholics.

*Is Catholic*

Christ created the Catholic Church. Ask a Catholic and they will tell you that. They will show you where he did it in the bible as well. They will also show you how the Church was created from the side of Christ on Calvary and then was fully inaugurated with the descent of the Spirit on Pentecost. If you read any works of Christians prior to 200 AD, it is all very clear that the Church was created by Christ and they say so directly.

Yes the Protestant groups were created by men. That is historically provable.

Luther removed books because he wanted to go with the Hebrew canon of scripture rather than the Greek canon of scripture. In part because the Greek (written by Jews that spoke Greek) wasn't Hebrew and in part because the Greek books help to flesh out the prophecies of Christ and the Church. Think of it this way...what would you say to an individual that wanted to drop Isaiah? Isaiah contains the prophesy of the suffering servant and if it is dropped then we can reinterpreted Jesus. So Luther dropped some books and reinterpreted what the faith was.

God is only unknown if you do not know Christ. So if you know Christ you will know the Father as well as knowing which Church is the real Church.

Yes many claim many things. BUT WHICH ONE IS? It is rather easy to figure it out. Just read what the first Christians wrote! It is as plain as day.

I am Catholic and I experience the Spirit all the time in the Catholic Church.

I'm happy that you have found God through the Pentacostal Church, but that fact does not give you the right to deride those who have found God through other Christian denominations.

Yes, there are MANY garbage bibles out there - but that fact does not mean there aren't good Bibles available either. One does have to be very careful when looking to purchase a good Bible, but they're out there for people who do their research BEFORE they buy,

Whether a Bible costs $$$ or $ is irrelevant. Publishing companies are, like any business, in it to make money, so they reserve the right to charge whatever. We, as consumers, have the right to choose not to buy from publishers who we think charge too much for a product that can be purchases elsewhere for less money.

You zeal for God is commendable - but don't let a good thing like zeal for God compel you into doing bad things like having contempt for fellow man for one superficial reason or another.

Are u ignorant or something? Have u ever stuidied anything about teh catholic church. The catholic church was formed by an order by jesus christ himself when he said to saint peter" blessed are you peter , that god has shown to you what most men have not seen, and upon this rock iw ill build my church, and the gates of hades shall not prevail over it, and whatsoever shall be loosed on earth , shall be loosed in heaven" Jesus then goes on to hand peter the keys to the kingdom of heaven.

Peter was the first pope(ambassador on earth for father, the son and the holy spirit).

Learn your bible history before u start spouting out . Also the millions of protestant and born again christian churches have a history that only dated till king james( who created his own bible in the 16th centure and ratified it, Thus breaking the law set by jesus himself that says that his church shall be a visible church that shall be here from the time he is on earth till the time he comes back to earth). The catholic church is the only christian church that fullfills his laws completely.
This is a historic fact that u can check even in the bible

King james even has words changed in the translations to fit what he and his believers see fit to believe in.

the catholic church is based upon the laws and authority jesus handed down to peter and the catholic church is teh only one that remembers and honors those words by jesus. The rest ignore them. Now .nowing all of this, how can you say the catholic church was created by men?????????

Sorry to differ with you. I went to a Pentacostal Assembly of God church as a kid and teen and it was.... well, I won't sink that low.

As an adult, converted to Catholicism because this is the only Church I found the true presence of God to be in.

Read Up, Stupid.
The Catholic Church was created by Jesus Christ, Himself when he assigned St. Peter as the first Pope. Simple as that. You need a history lesson before you start dissing people.

Well that's nice for you.

However, millions of Christians worldwide HAVE experienced the Holy Spirit in churches other than the pentecostal church.

I am personally happy to be FREE of denominations at my non-denominational church.

NO organization can 'walk the way'. All they can do is POINT the way. And yes, the Roman Church does that. I met the Lord as a Charismatic Catholic.

Seeker,
I have read your questions and received your last email a couple of days ago. I, myself, feel as though you are confused with how you express yourself. I prayed to God to tell me how I might reply to you, to give me some that you might benefit from. This is what he gave me.
Matthew 7:1-5
2 Thessalonians 2: 9-12
The Holy Spirit instructed me to give you this:
1 Timothy 6: 3-5

And told me to say this:
"But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word ..." 2 Corinthians 4:2
"I warm everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from this words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book." Revelation 22: 18-19
"For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud arrogant, abusive disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having ther appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all as was that of those two men." 2 Timothy 3: 1-9
The Bridegroom keeps Peace with His bride. Anyone within the Body that does not follow this IS NOT a part of Christ. Be careful where your feet tread for it is not wise to stir up tension within the Lord's people. He sees all and knows all, and His hand is mighty to those whom He smites. Pray to the Father and Son that your spirit might be free from the one that has hold over you now. He is not worthy of you and the evil ones grasp is strong. Only God can free you. Not his arrogance and pride. Be free from this sin, my brother. And you will know God.
2 Corinthians 4: 4

Forgive me Seeker, but this was what I was told to say. It's your message from the Lord. Please, do not discard it. I pray that you can see through the devil's disguise and through your own conceit. I pray that your confusion is replaced with the real Truth. And that any Christians who are glamorized by Satan's trickery through you are saved and spared by the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 4: 6

God Bless you lost lamb.
