verses 15-28 reveal that the woman acknowledges Israel's privilege & priority, she appealed to his 'kindness', nothing more... it does not say she was being tested does it ?

24He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel."
The people of Israel coming out of Egypt were Hebrews. The lost sheep were Hebrews. The Jews were a part of the Hebrews and settled in the southern portion of Israel, They consisted of the tribes of Judah (hence the name 'Jews' ), Benjamin, the tribe of Levite, and If I remember right, a half tribe- Simeon if I remember rightly.
The tribes settling to the north were viewing themselves as a separate kingdom. They are referred to the Kingdom of Israel, or the House of Israel.
They were conquered separately and before Judah.
This is evidenced in John 4 when a woman was with Jesus at the well of Jacob. She was a Samaritan woman, a descendant of Jacob, yet not a Jew.
The rest of the world were to come to the Jews for salvation, to have peace with God. There were so called Gentiles who would be saved according to the faith they had in God. The Old Testament tells us about them. Naaman the Syrian was one, and a King of Babylon another.
So God's grace is for those who trust Him, who believe Him when He says something. It's not very good to take a scripture by itself and construct an entire theory based upon it. There ought to be other scriptures to support the theory, or should I say hypothesis?

False dichotomy.
Whenever you see what appears to be a contradiction, one of the parameters for your conclusion is wrong. Go back and check all your parameters to identify the parameter in error, correct it, and the contradiction will disappear.
When Jesus told the woman, that 'it is not right to give the food... to the little dogs..' yet later this subject was addressed when in a vision to Peter, Jesus informed us (through Peter's dream) that in reality, though the good news of the Kingdom was offered first to the Jews, it was afterwards sent out to all.
This can also be concluded from the illustration of the invitation to the wedding party. Many refused to go, and thus, others took their place.
Salvation, was always intended for all humans, yet, by reason of God's promise to Abraham, the first invitations went out to his specific descendants.
It is easy to mock something when one has not taken the time, nor even tried with any effort to understand what one is mocking, yet, fortunately for those of us who are well versed in the writings of the Bible, the attitudes and the very existence of the many who scoff at spiritual things, as if the believer is somehow defective, is faith strengthening by reason of the fact that your presence was foretold long ago.

Excuse me but you are confusing yourself which may tend to happen when you take things out of context, you may better understand if you read more of the surounding verses rather than pick out just one. And no, Jesus was not imperfect, he was perfect. You just don't understand his words.

Jesus wanted the woman to show her faith as soon as she did her daughter was healed. And yes He was and is perfect.
Why do you people take things out of context. If you read the entire passage you see the meaning.
