my grandma has been married for 42 years and has been cheated on numerious times and he has had the nerve to say sexual comments to me and has tried to touch me. he is a drunk. what can i do to help her see that she is worth more than that?

I'm way more concerned about you than your grandma.
DON'T go back there and risk something happening. Even if he doesn't actually touch you, I bet that you feel terrible when he tries. Don't be that person who's life is screwed up for a long time because they had the bad luck to be around a sick a@@ pervert.
See your grandma when he is not around. It sounds pessimistic, but I bet that she knows about it at some level. 42 years is a long time. Sadly, this happens all too often.

You cannot change other people. Your standards are not necessarily the same as theirs or they may simply be tolerant of horrible behavior. Either way your best bet is to simply stay away as much as possible. Otherwise you will surely lose your relationship with your grandma before she will drop her husband.

Your grandmother has been with the son of a b|tch for 42 years. She's used to it.. She's used to the income and her home and things she has... She's probably adjusted to living with a perverted old fart.
And with any luck he won't live much longer, and grandma can be like those in fairy tales -- living happily ever after.
It's not up to you or others to tell your grandma how to live... it's her choice.. she's an adult.

Ewwwww! No, I would get a divorce, but you can't tell your grandma what to do. I would report your grandpa's behavior, though...that is really sick.

There is nothing you can do if she chooses to turn a blind eye to this. However, I would stay as far away from him as I could get, if I were you.

my aunt and uncle were maried for a long time and they were like my other parents and when i was little he did touch me. and i told my momma a she got really mad then he cheated on my aunt then he divorced her but she didnot believe me about the touching thing. but just tell ur parents please! he is gross and nasty and ne 1 like that deserves to die!
