I came home today and found an email from a friend...only it wasn't from her, it was from her son...wanting to reach out and find some of her friends. See...she was walking the dog, and someone hit her with their car. Now she's left in the hospital with some serious injuries.

One thing I know about my good friend - she is a Prayer Warrior and I've often seen her post on here, some very touching and compassionate prayers.

And yes...the doctors will do a great job, as will prayer. What the doctors can't fix is the sense of loss the family has, the uncertainty, the pain they may be feeling, but God will.

To those who join us in praying...thank you. From this hurt, good will come from it. That much we are confident of.

Dear Heavenly Father,
PLEASE take care of this hurting child of yours... Please take away her pain and help her heal from her injuries. We bring her family to you also...as this is devastating to them. God please wrap your arms around them all and protect them and keep them close to you. Help them know that all things work together for good to them that love God. I know she loves you, God. My heart is breaking for her. Please, just be very very close to her. I thank you for her life and I know that you always see a bigger picture than we do. I pray all this in Jesus' name, amen.

I'll be praying for her. And I do believe in the power of prayer. And I'll be thanking the good Lord for bringing her out of this. As well as protecting her through out all of this.

As for not believing in prayer...thanks for letting the rest of us know that as well, I'm sure the family would still be thankful for the positive thoughts. As for the sarcastic ones, wouldn't want to think we've forgotten there is someone hurting enough to write about it.

Oh my, what a precious heart you have for your friend!
You know, prayer is the most powerful tool we, as Christians have. Obviously, you are aware of this power.

Yes, my brother in Christ, I will pray for your friend and I will stand in agreement that good will come from from this tragic accident. I will pray that God touches her with His healing hand and raise her up with a testimony which glorifies the Lord! May there be many Angels encompassing her as she struggles with these injuries.

Remember, God created this special soul and she is being loved by the One who loves her most, the Lord. He never leaves us nor, forsakes us! He is our shelter in these "storms" of life!

I will continue to pray for her and for her family as I know they must be frightened for her and they need HIS strength to walk through this too.

Believe me when I say, I am so sorry this happened to your friend!

Dear Father in Heaven,

I just thank you for the privilege of coming before your throne of grace with my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus to lift up this precious one to you.

God, we know that you are ALL POWERFUL and we ask that your PERFECT WILL be done in the situation. We thank you for your sovereignty--that you rule and reign over all situations.

Father, I just ask, in Jesus name that you send ministering angels to lift this dear one and whole family up. Give them your strength and love. Surround them with your reassuring peace. I just ask that you give wisdom, knowledge, discernment and guidance to all the health care professionals in regards to her situation. Let all things be done according to your perfect will.

I come against all infections and anything that would block her total restoration in Jesus name.

We just ask that you send your HEALING, HEALTH and TOTAL RESTORATION to her in Jesus name.

I also come against every power and principality sent by the evil one to bring death, destruction, accident and injury against her IN JESUS NAME--Father, please protect her and her family from any attack of the enemy in Jesus name.

Thankyou Lord that you are merciful towards us. Thank you that you have allowed her life to be spared and that you are using all things to work together for good in this situation.

Praise You Lord,
In Jesus Name
Amen.
