So, i started putting a humidifer in my 2 year old’s bedroom at night and was wondering if it is ok to close his door? I put it on a medium "output". I only ask, because he is used to sleeping with the door close and hubby is sooooooooo loud when he gets up during the night or for the morning.

As long as you air out his room during the day it should be fine. Just make sure you check and make sure things are not wet (or even damp) in the morning. If it is, then turn it onto the low output.

You might need to be worried that there might be to much moister building up and it could cause mildew/mold. Maybe have the door closed when he goes to sleep and open it after he falls asleep. Ask your husband if he wouldn't mind closing his door again in the morning. The extra noise of the humidifier might cover up any noises he would hear if you are up during the night.

I was told by a pediatrician that a humidifier has never delivered and studies proving them to work or have any affect what so ever so I would say not.
